Currently, I am in my last semester of my college in Haryana, my fellow people just stereotyped me as a person who can't speak fluent English, since I am from Bihar. But, they always get shocked to hear my fluent English as well as pure Hindi.

It's high time people should stop stereotyping Bihar and biharis. Haryanivis also can't speak what you are calling pure Hindi ,They have Hariyanavi accent .What We biharis speak is our accent. When people from Bengal or Maharashtra speak Hindi then they also have particular accent but no body ridicule them because they have not discarded their mother tongue as we have done .Hindi spoken around Delhi is supposed to be Standard Hindi is our colloquial mindset. Magadhi not Magahi is the precursor of Bengali,Asamese and Oriya. So Eastern India have particular accent

I am Bihari and have been to different places. Yes, people are prejudice about bihari but with our politeness, intellect and determination to do hard work we can turn things around. I personally have received a lot of love and help in non Hindi states.

Haryanvi is a dialect which can be seen rude to many but it's how the accent is even in hindi it is kinda offensive. You might have some bad experiences but that doesn't mean everyone is like that.

It has more to do with the hordes of cheap laborers migrating from Bihar to every better-performing State of India. Their continuous influx has made 'Bihari' synonymous with a 'laborer' in the local parlance. So the solution lies in developing industry and creating jobs in Bihar so that locals aren't forced to find menial jobs in other states.
Also our overpopulation. It's hard to run a vehicle when it's overloaded.
I am originally from Odisha but have been living away from my native land for over 20 years. During this time, I've met many classmates and colleagues from Bihar. They are easy-going and down-to-earth individuals.
Don't generalise . Every variety of person can be found in any state..
