These are memorable scenes of GI. As kids we never wondered how Skipper made the boomerang or how Howell made his pool table. We just loved how fun the show was and marveled at the likable characters.
The fans had a fun time watching the castaways have a fun time. Who would not want to live on this island?
Such a funny back & forth between Mr.Howell & the Skipper playing cards!
7:19 Thurston shows off, and then Skipper gets his turn!! 7:52
Gilligan's facial expressions watching both of them are priceless!
You have to love the orchestra instruments they came up with especially the skipper’s fog horn. I like how Ginger stuck up for him.
Charming, I like the musical MacBeth and Lovey’s orchestra. Alan Hale has a nice, strong voice.
IT WAS HAMLET!!!!! It was NOT Macbeth!!!!!!
Love this show.❤️
Reminder that I need a vacation! Looks like fun!
I’m jealous, I never have this much fun. LOL
I love Gilligan's island so much.
Still one of my fav shows
Cool show
I'd love a year on that island! Fun and more fun!
Whenever I see the Howells, I feel like I am watching a fashion show.
I suspect the checker board was brought on the 3 hour tour in case anyone got bored. LOL
There’s more than one scene with Mr Howell playing golf. Guess the game makes him feel he’s in an exclusive club.
Clearly most of the games were made on the island. We have to assume the Skipper brought the checker board set and Howell brought the deck of cards on the three hour tour in case they got bored.
Love the musical MacBeth.
Hamlet.
But yeah, I loved that episode.
It was Hamlet..NOT Macbeth..the RUclipsr got it wrong.
I like Mr. Howell’s pin he is wearing in the turtle race. It says “Turf Club:”
Way to go Lovey in badminton.
Mr Howell is quite the dapper golfer.
Fun fun & more fun
Even though a lot of the things in this show are unrealistic at least they're doing things to keep themselves preoccupied and being productive and constructive with their time
Gilligan and Skipper did not know about the pool table so that means either Howell or the Professor built it: Howell does not do labor so my guess is he had the professor build it. Or, like everything else on the island it just showed up.
Amusing comedy.
Hiliarous Show.
The stars of Gilligan's island had real good acting
We all need to move to an island to enrich our lives, LOL
As long as there's a Mary Ann & GInger there, I wouldn't mind, haha!
Love the stilts
Like an amusement park.
Skipper claims he will only bet in pool yet he agrees to bet Howell on poker.
That's true, but it sure seems like he knows his way around a deck of cards! 7:51
That bamboo car😂😂😂
The musical play was of Hamlet
Now if Mary Ann can only be Miss. Nevada...oh wait?
"Ah ah ah. No temper. more tempo! "
Funny episode.
What's really amazing about these clips? This was before HD or digital filming. Look at detail, color and focus; it rivals ANY HD film. What did they use? I'm guessing 35mm color film and B/W for the early episodes. Who was cinematographer? Richard L. Rawlings
He has many TV series under his photography guidance: www.imdb.com/name/nm0712619/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr14
Actually..it was a musical performance of Hamlet they performed....NOT Macbeth..
You are so right!!! My mistake.
What i liked about the castaways basically good people comraderie they were and made the best out of what they had on the island
Did Howell really build that pool table without the help of the Skipper or Professor? I don’t think so.
Alan Hale jr like his father were already veteran actors on the silver screen like Jim Backus
Too bad they didn't put pontoons on the pedal car 🤓❗❤
Dig Howell’s putting range.
I wonder who got that bamboo car, or did they just destroy it when the show was unexpectedly cancelled?
Heavens to Tosskinneenee, I’ve been insulted.
Ah ah ah ah
Less temper, more tempo
Gillgans ridiculous car of bamboo
Thank you
Howell is not used to losing and rarely does. Funny that his wife is beating him in badminton. She owns her own against her husband. Much more so than the poor skipper.
For a narcissist like Mr. Howell, (albeit a very lovable one) he sees his wife as an extension of himself, so it makes sense that she, one if the illustrious Howells, doesn't upset him by winning, especially as he can take credit for teaching her. They really were a wonderful couple! They had amazing chemistry.
Humm, just wondering how they grew that putting green for Howell’s golf. Maybe it was already there and the professor figured out how to build a lawn mower.
how come after wearing the same cloths all those years, they never wore them out? and nobody ever wanted any sex, after being stuck on a island all those years.i would have been chasing mary ann all over the place, she was hot
lol! cloths? Fix it immediately! You sound like you're in junior high!
Hiliarouis show.
Maryann !
Any reality shifts here? Some of this is not how we remember, including blue eyes on Gilligan. Some stuff is strange. Still fun though.
Notice Mary Ann not singing. She was reportedly tone deaf, so they wouldn't let her for scenes like this.
Bamboo caned irons clubs
It's the musical version of Hamlet, not Macbeth. Are you kidding me?
Gilligan on stilts
That was Hamlet, not Macbeth
hamlet not Macbeth
…"whatsa matter wit you???...
