When I was a kid a played this game 24/7 with my brother who played as dogmatix and obelix. I never knew about those super powers like tornado and that other stuff I was so good at it that I managed to make it to Rome. I beat 1000 romans without super powers, can you imagine that? I stuck at that one stage with lions because our little sister broke the cd, I was so mad. I finished the game a few years later with superpowers. Man, what an adventure that was. I wish I could go back in time with my brother to have another adventure.
This game works on Windows 7 IF you download a patch for it (IDK about Vista and 10). When I downloaded it, it was an archive with a single file which was supposed to replace one of the files in the game's folder.
Correction: the patch is made for 64-bit systems, so it makes the game work on Windows 10 too. The patch is simply a modified GameModule.elb file which replaces the original one (it must have the same name as the original file). You can find it in 4 variants: normal, widescreen, windowed and widescreen+windowed. The patch may trigger your antivirus - add it as an exception, the patch is safe.
can someone plz help me?? i want to know how to do the thing where you grab roman and swing him about but im not sure what to do i tried grab and nearly died so can someone plz help me??
i love this game its great but i cant seem to get past the second boss (the grece one) does anyone have some trick so i can just get past that lvl cuz everytime i try defeating it i just fall in the lava or the machine kills me so if anyone has a why to get past it or defeat it plz tell me
Great game, great graphics. one problem. I've had it for over a year, now i finishy the game in 9 hours straight. language is changeble, considering the OS(PS2, PC, etc) settings.
i got this game on the gba but it misses all the fun ,interactivety,animation scenes,from the ps2 version etc,,, also those levels are small. however it,s still amezing concidering the gba limmitations. now this trailer is ps2 based.
i played this game and finished it twice. if fun to play, has a long playing time and the combos are just awesome. i just had little problems with beating 1000 Romans, but after buying twister combo everything was waaaay easier. it is a good thing to use the dog too, because he can run aroung bitting Romans making them dropping their armour and easy to finish. sry 4 bad english:s peace!*

I wish Asterix actually became popular in the US, and this is probably why.

I used to love this game as a kid! I remember ignoring all of the combo moves and saving up for the twister and then cruising through the last level.

It's a combo. You need to buy it in the menu with a certain number of helmets.

It seems to be good, but the classic graphics mode are only 4:3 ratio...
We'll have to wait and see. If they have Retro mode, why wouldn't they let us change aspect ratio? Black letterboxes don't look good.
