Reto, I have to tell you... I bought this game last weekend and I already have about 16 hours logged into it. There are very logical answers to all the questions that you're asking and I'm certain you'd figure them out after messing around for a few runs. I would LOVE to see a series for this game. It's a real journey learning the ins and outs! In my opinion it becomes much less tedious once you understand how all the pieces fit together. The sound effects (and lack their of) is the biggest detractor of the game for sure.
24:54 it takes so long to charge the first time because it charges during the duration, so as soon as the poison bag effect happens the lung starts to recharge, even when the duration of the lung is longer than the recharge time, like with the bullfrog lung
Exactly this^^ the effect happens 0.19 times per second so it really takes longer to activate than say 2 times per second (this would active every 0.5s seconds). So, you must wait for the organ to activate then it begins its “cool-down” which is longer than the duration.
Its probably easiest to visualize with math! (yay!) Activates every 0.19 seconds = ~5 second amp up time. Duration is 2.98 seconds = Lasts for 3 seconds. First activation takes 5 seconds. Everyone after takes 2 seconds because its charging during the 3 seconds of activation of previous. It looks like its charging 2.5x as fast but its really just because the first one doesn't have one before it.... because it's... the first one.... lol
You know in fighting games where’s there’s a broken character so people draw flow charts of their easy movests. Well in this game you Unironically need a flowchart
Please play more of this! Looks like a lot of fun, and seems to have tons of replay ability. Would like to see a run where you invest heavily in Organ Quality to get more branching paths quickly
I think the “atomize effect” thing was doing its cooldown while the ring was active, so it took just as long to activate the second time but it seemed faster because the effect stayed active through half of the cooldown
I was waiting for you to pick it up after I saw Wander play it! Love the Spore-like body part system, hope it gets more complex like Rogue Genesia or Soulstone Survivors.
Just a small thing i noticed. A nerve that triggers on hit, you want an organ that hits multiple enemies. For basically the whole game your "first" brain had a nerve that was triggered by a single target projectile. If you used a different attack, things wouldve been nuts.
I got this game and played it, once you get how the offspring work (a higher efficiency removes the problem of not enough fertility) the hearts are super useful on them because you can "die" without having to die and get off crazy damage with 1000+% efficiency
Apparently offspring also work like landmines with intestines, and you can spawn multiple at once to buff you with enough fertility edit: not landmines at all, if an enemy hits them they completely cancel
Wait, how do you die without dying? I didnt get that. Oh nevermind I immediately figured it out after asking the stupid question... Your OFFSPRING die. Sweet.
@@CmdrCorn Yeah if you attach it to your offspring they can die without you personally dying, preferably you use it on an egg offspring, because eggs will spawn more (higher fertility = higher spawns) and they die in one hit, so it's easier to proc
This game seems infinitely more interesting than others in the genre. Just seems like a lack of "weapons" so far. Like it seems like all categories do the same thing, they just have different suffixes that change their quality in a sense. But that means that any crazy configurations you make will always be limited to these same ~5? attacks. I kinda feel like they should've gone for a prefix and suffix system. Where one effects the quality/stats and one is the actual type of attack. Limb of the Giant could smack down a giant arm bone or whatever, but limb of the lion would have a sliding claw bone attack. With the prefix being something else that would change the speed/efficiency or whatever.
Hey can we get more of this? That build was really weak compared to what is actually possible to do, mostly to do with the "cards" you were dealt tho, should definitely give it another shot

I've played this a bit (well around 3 hours). It reminds me a lot of Samurai Bringer with the customisation in a sense. You get some really insane combos later on, enough that you'd have to turn down the effects opacity.
Same genre as vampire survivors, it's a cool new spin. I like the customisation between waves. Im pretty sure v.s. didn't make sounds for projectiles either.... not a big deal in my opinion. But you did a great job of showcasing this title. I'll have to pick it up.

love this game, so easy to build things that make my eyes hurt lol, chaining stuff together is so fun and so very busted, i really hope the dev doesnt merf anytging bc its gonestly pretty close to perfect rn
Sadly this game is way too easy to 'exploit', because u can use area damage organs to spawn multiple limbs attacks which can spawn aoe again. The secret is just to create single long branch in mutation menu with boxer nerve. Dmg grow exponentially. Single attack can clear whole horde of enemies.

Sheep's ability to generate cells allows for purchasing a good number of stat ups and 'gacha spins' for organs.
