I really dislike how everytime I build a deck in Master duel I put in the same 9 cards. Its super boring and limits creativity.
@@torranlegrand3094How about decks like infernoid or Salamangreat or Blackwing? If you only pay attention to the top decks you are gonna make uninformed opinions for everything below it. Do you want Branded and Labrynth to be the only playable decks in the game and have a deck be defined soley by how much personal support its been given?
I have no idea why you think generic boss monsters are the reason for handtraps. How do you plan to beat Branded or Lab going 2nd without Ash Blossom or Mathmech without DD crow, called by the grave, or Ghost Bell. Maxx C, Shifter and maybe Droll are exceptions because they are floodgate handtraps not 1 for 1 trades
@FrostReave konami can make support for those decks if they want to. Blacking does not need generic boss monsters. Not all generic boss monsters are toxic. Yes I agree not all meta decks spam the same boss monsters but allot of them do. I have seen this meta shift after meta shift soon SP little knight will be in every deck period. Waw what variety.
Are you kidding me if you think the only good decks are branded and lab without generic boss monsters is ridiculous. You know as well as I do that is factually wrong, snake eyes would still be a good deck. Lab is definitely a problem but konami will nerf that deck so why bother debating banning or limiting those cards. Konami will not ban cards like max c, baron, apolo, and access code. That is my issue. You do realize that no one likes floods gates that is why they are all at 1, it's boring as hell to play them and watch somone else play them. Brain dead yugioh.
It's not fun to have the same cards in every main deck and almost every extra deck. Yugiog is a game of strategy, if you remove strategy from deck building the game becomes less about strategy and more about luck. It's a delicate balance and can only be accomplished by good developers. Konami has some great card design that cannot shine within the current meta because they suck at balancing their game because they just want to sell expensive cards to make money. Expensive cards are usually generic boss monsters.
@@torranlegrand3094 Bro slow down and read my comment. It’s obvious you are lacking some pretty clear game knowledge if you didn’t misread my comment somewhere. I never once defended Maxx C quite the opposite I separated it and all other “hand trap floodgates” as they ARE the problematic hand traps.
As for Branded and Lab point have you seen Branded? It single handedly has the most support out of any deck ever printed it uses basically no generic cards besides handtraps. Mirrorjade is the ultimate in archtype boss monster. It is 100% unbeatable without hand traps and generic cards. That’s why I used it as the perfect example on why handtraps are necessary with or without generic cards. It’s not alone either @Ignister, Purrley, Mathmech, etc your assumption is just completely faulty
A world without generic cards is one where the going 1st wins well over 95% of the time. If you think otherwise you are a plat player with severe of card and deck knowledge. And no they cannot support every deck there’s tens of thousands of cards and thousands of archtypes with more being printed every month and others being power creeped constantly. I have yet to hear a *single* reason generic cards and handtraps should be banned the meta wouldn’t change in fact it would be insurmountable with no one being able to equip specific counters or cover for their deck’s weaknesses. If you made a more specific point targeting the most problematic cards then we could talk but this is madness
