Yo, They Call Me Heat, using that second part was a good decision. Chopping the intro to songs is overdone and just lazy in my book. The best chop with vocals.
Both tracks are super dope. I think Crackalacks had a smooth intro transition to the beat that kept sliding on a smooth surface. It was more pleasing on the ear.
I am a hip hop artist that mainly goes towards sample beats but I like when the two (Sample and trap) meet. Sample beats with trap elements are something I really like.
I agree Yeah loops can be boring and repetitive I think with me it all depends on my vibe and how I'm feeling sometimes I make a sample based track with a loop and after vibing to it I can hear different parts of the sample to make alterations and add ons to change it up.
I love the space and pauses on the trap one has, you can go anyway with( more flexible/vibey); the Boom-Bap one always you to rap on it, only, and I can't imagine someone rapping without bring straight bars to it.

It took the sample and recreated a whole new thing that unless you were told where it came from you would never recognize the source. That's tapping in to the DNA beginning of hip-hop.
