I'm having a hard time doing a setup like this. Do you film and record simultaneously then sync the audio to the video? Or does your camera have audio input from the laptop? I have an interface and use reaper to record audio...

Yes, i record audio and video at the same time then sync audio and video. Usually I have to do some takes 😁
