This beat is crazy and her Flow is ridiculous! Great request and great reaction. Lauryn Hill is just incredible. Tbh my favorite song by her is on the fugees first album Nappy Heads remix just on vibes alone.
YES!!! I’ve really been hoping someone requests for him to do nappy heads
@@zs_2390i will for sure!
Very few hip hop songs from the 90s are a creative masterpiece. This is one of them.
No question that Lauryn Hill is one of the greatest hip-hop MCs to ever do it, male or female. She is one of 20 hip-hop artists (and the only female hip-hop artist) to ever reach diamond status by the recording industry. I will never forget the summer when this album dropped. Everyone was shooked! People immediately put her on a pedestal so high that it was too much for her to handle. That year she won the most GRAMMYs among any other artist in one night. During that time, the only other artist to win the most GRAMMYs in one night was Michael Jackson. Because she got so many accolades beyond the hip-hop industry, from legendary rockers to big-name pop stars for this album, the mainstream industry took notice and instantly wanted to catapult her to Mega Superstar status. Well-known writers were all competing to be the one to write her autobiography and the immediate rise to stardom became too much pressure for her and she had a breakdown behind it - the reason why we only got one studio album from her. Lauryn Hill's talent is immense! ❤
Thank you Xander for the request!!!
Thank you so much for reacting to it. ❤
Lauryn Hill ft. Mary J. Blige - "I Used to Love Him"
Lauryn Hill ft. Paid & Live - "All My Time"
Lauryn Hill - "Tell Him"
Lauryn Hill - "The Sweetest Thing (Mahogany Mix)" ft. John Forté
Q. Why was it The Refugee Camp All-Stars on the _LOVE JONES_ soundtrack but just Lauryn Hill on The Mahogany Mix? Just curious. Thanks. ✌🏽
@@gabrielmcdonnell8699Although both versions are credited as The Refugee's Camp All-Stars featuring Lauryn Hill, The Mahogany Mix does appear as a bonus track on the international version of The Miseducation album.
When this album dropped, you heard it everywhere. I mean, I heard a Radio DJ play "That Thing" 2x back-to-back because it was THAT hot. Everywhere I walked on campus, I heard it thumping from dorm room windows and passing cars. It's legendary.
I played this album like a maniac when it 1st came out. Absolutely a masterpiece!!
The greatest ARTIST of all time.. you can’t categorize her as a rapper nor singer she’s an artist and the greatest ever 🐐
It's just not fair to say which track is my fave because this entire album is a masterpiece. I just let it play. But as amazing as the beat, the melody, and the vocals are, for me, it's her lyrics. Really good request Xander & really good reaction Jack.
Lauryn Hill is the greatest MC of all time!!!! Her flow, charisma, stage presence! her voice, her versatility, her unmatched cadence!, her style, her beauty, her faith and integrity!!! How many artist have participated in the two biggest albums of all time? Score/Miseducation! Best movie of all time “Sister Act 2” she never repeats the same style ! The most versatile artist we’ve seen since MJ! Check out the song “Allies” by Poor Righteous Teachers! She was only 20 years old! 😳🔥thank me later 👑
Great reaction for sure y'all be rocking with these songs this one is 🔥🔥🔥 much love ❤❤❤😊
Finally got around to watching this reaction. This is my fave! 🔥

FYI, Jack, the GOAT, Nas has count 'em sixteen studio albums!!! Yikes!!!!
you look so much better with the short hair and you sound so mature now haha
Lauryn was one of those rare artists. That was AS GOOD singing as she is RAPPING
People don’t get how rare that is
Even though people praised Drake for that shit
Lauryn was a whole nother level with it
I’ll put in terms for a sports fan
It was like she was 99 overall
