Your video helped me a lot! I got my lights installed and am ready to go except I have one difference. Your power has a brown plug to plug in. Mine has a bare wire and a wire splice. Any idea what wire to splice into? I am hopeless when it comes to electrical.
I having the same issue. That's plug that he shows is a hot wire so the light on my switch stays on when the car is parked. I tapped into the cigarette lighter for accessory only and it blew the fuse on my fog kit I replaced it with the same amp fuse then it blew my cigarette lighter fuse and has continued to do so. I'm trying to find a location to connect it to only work when the car is on and when it's off the fog light kit get no power but since the kit has a 30amp fuse I'm assuming anything less than that it will blow the circuit.
@@rm4213 I took your advice and I tapped into the rear wiper arm. It was the least used item. But I have to make sure I turn OFF the fog lights before I use it or I will blow a fuse.
Thanks man, I just used your video to get my fogs installed. My E is identical to yours, and i also live in BC. Maybe I'll see ya out on the roads;). Cheers!
thanks alot for this because i just wanted to know how to remove the bumper click so i can change the condenser.. great video anyway now I'm inspired to get fog lights to
the power wire should be. if its a aftermarket kit you will have to track the wiring and spot the fus or the fuse that connected to were your getting power from. check the fuse box under the hood and under the dash for fog light fuse for factoryor aftermarket aswell
Your headlights look amazingly good, originals? Changing out my headlights also, faded and peeling. Weather not as hard on them up north?? Cheers and thanks......
Hey got a question I just installed fog light kit just like yours. But my fog light switch stay lit up and when I press the switch it gets brighter indicating that the fog lights are on inwhich they are. But my concern is the light on the switch staying on when the car is off and parked. Should I get another switch?
This video was posted a long time ago, so I was wondering how those WinJet aftermarket fog lights held up. The reviews on those are well, not good. Did you get any condensation, water in them or the housing rusting out? It may do some good for anyone seeing this to know, as it isn't the easiest job to do. Especially if you are cutting out the bumper.
Thanks for the reply. I think I’m going to retro in some new OEM factory lamps from Valeo. I would have vultured them out of a Ford in a junkyard if I would have been able to find the right model. But no luck, so new it is. I’m not sure if the valeo is glass or plastic lens, but I’m sure the lens is probably tougher than on aftermarket.
Having issues with my fog lights on a 2004 EX. One burned out. Replaced the bulb and the other went out as well. Now I have 2 new bulbs and neither lamp works. Is there a dedicated fuse for these or an inline relay or something that could be bad?
Looks like your are deft with wires around Honda Element. So I got question about radio connection. I bought one of those conversion kit but all what it does turns radio on and off. I got no sound coming to speakers.
I wish I feel more comfortable with this. the wiring is what confuses me. I really want fog lights on my E. also both those button holes are already used. Cruise and VSA =(

@@mishabear9261 I ended up tapping into the power mirror fuse I've had no issues at all.

Bit of condensation happened. Definitely stick to the plastic lens the glad ones get cracked very easily

Oem aftermarket
You don’t need to remove the all bumper to install the fogs lights 🧐
made filming it easier tho
ummmm isn't "OEM Aftermarket" an oxymoron. it's either one or the other
