      Yes, she was too tickled. Olivia looked like WTH!!! Chadwick didn't know what to think, and Richard stayed in character. I was still thinking about what her mother told her about her period and sex when she was off to boarding school, and then she shares her honeymoon story. PEACE to ALL ... and STAY SAFE and HEALTHY.

They know their massive privilege and are honest and can joke about it. It's the middle classes who either rest on their laurels of "improving themselves" while pretending they're still suffering from being in the lower income brackets, or completely turn into snobs and pretend they're rich. Either way, both ends of the class ladder dislike the middle class for their lack of self-awareness and authenticity.

    She's hysterical! ("squelching about on the bed"!). True aristocracy usually are... quite, quite bonkers IME (growing up in villages in rural UK, women like her were usually running the Women's Institute etc) . Her polite no thank you is such typical stiff upper lip British. 😁

      @@hazween23 Really? Hyacinth would die to be thought of as Lady Glenconner, but would be far too aspirant middle class to copy her. She would worry about what the neighbours may think. In general the aristocracy don't have neighbours, and if they do, they don't care what people think about them. It's so refreshing in these dreary politically correct times to see people like Lady Glenconner being honest and open. Unlike politicians and so called celebrities who are desperate to be liked and approved of.

      Really? They were notorious for their decadent lifestyle. Somehow I doubt the workers on their estates saw them as whimsical. And the brothel she casually mentions her husband visiting was probably full of underage girls.
