It has lights on both sides of the auto turn-on button. Why does only one turn on? What is the other one for? I’m talking about the green light that turns on when you press the auto button. Only one side turns on. Is the other one suppose to turn green too?
My 2014 4Runner appears to be the same. So is it just one light on the left side indicating on or off? What is the square on the right side of the power button, is it a sensor?

Hello, I have the same question. I too just bought a RAV4, 2013 Limited AWD, Technology pack. It has an auto dimming rear view mirror but no compass. Any idea whether we can buy the one with compass and replace the existing one without compass?
My auto-dimming rear vie mirror seems to be set to permanent dim. Ho can I override this? I ant this feature OFF. I ill dim it hen I ant it dim. I'm having difficulty seeing in the rear vie mirror since it is on perpetual dim!
I can't stand that I have to turn it off everytime I get in my car it's too darn dark and I can't see what is actually going on behind me I would love it if you could turn it off all of the time and use it when you want it.. It is the most annoying thing about my car
1) If the compass display reads “C” the compass feature must be calibrated. a) To calibrate the compass, drive the vehicle in up to 3 complete circles at less than 5mph.
I was able to put my old 2019 rearviewmirror into the 2020 does anyone know how I can the auto dim Feature work it has wires that need to be connected which the 2020 doesn't have

It has a light only on one side, which is green when on. The other side, in my opinion, is the sensor.
The other one is for notification when you pair a garage door opener.
@@i-Nilesh actually the rear facing sensor is in an eye hole at the top of the glass.

I agree. I just want the old school lever action type. That is way more simple and will never malfunction or break.

South East, South West, North East ,etc Fur example SE is between 90 degrees (e) and 180 degrees (S) on a compass rose
