I broke my leg last fall and when I got back on the bike I was afraid to take my leg off the bike. Not shockingly I have ended up riding corners much faster. Funny how the injury forced me to change my technique.
Ryno, ever since I have been focusing on my feet, my riding has improved lots. I feel way more confident and secure on the bike. I feel like I can predict the way the bike will react to an obstacle a lot more and I feel as though I’m riding way more proactive rather than reactive. Thanks for the tips mate 👍🏻
I was trying to keep on my toes today at Statefair. Was super fun trying something new that makes such a dramatic impact. Recovering from a broken left thumb has slowed me down. Keeping on my toes on the front of the pegs while attacking is the only way I can “hold on” now. Thanks
I'm new to moto, my kid is obsessed. We both ride and your tips have helped my riding and therefore I've been able to pass that to my 5yr old. Such an interesting guy, thanks for your being!
Here is a tip that I use all the time. When it's muddy I always steer with my back tire. Feet on the pegs and putting all the control into that rear tire. It takes some practice, but it works.
Ryno!!! Thanks for all the videos! I have my son 8 on a ktm65 and he is studying your tips constantly. Just the foot work for him and myself have made a huge difference. I grew up riding, but haven’t ridden since 2009. Is it to late for me to be competitive in amateur races? Thanks!!!
Another thing that’s important which Ryno didn’t mention, but you can see him doing Is when you put your foot out, point your toes This way, if your foot does hit the ground or rock, it will skim across it Rather than your toes pointing up and your heal drive into the ground or rock This would send that impact right through your whole leg Which brings us to another thing, both Ryno and myself use Fox boots Because of the ankle pivot, it’s super easy to point your foot wearing them Even after using my A stars for a couple of years, I still had a problem pointing my toe To me the Fox boots are amazing The only thing I would change is to make them a bit lighter as I believe they are the heaviest boots on the market Which is ok if you have super strong legs The benefit of being heavier, is they are more planted on pegs
Hi Ryno great Vids can you give advice for 125 riders? its real hard to stay on the balls of your feet the left foot pretty much has to be in the flat footed positioin because youre always shifting what can you recommend?

Thank you boss I’m not a motocross rider but I’m a Grand Prix and off road rider trying to become better 🤘🏻

Cool slow mo shots.. you can see what and why you put your feet where you do.. thaks Ryno Good stuff!👍🍻
You look fast to me.... Vet strong!! Maybe i'll get a sauna and ice bath that should at least give me a couple seconds a lap LOL
Damn your still fast as hell in those corners!
It's all about the little thing . That add up to great technique. Thank you
Love your work mate . Great example on how slow we all ride 🤣even A graders that think there quick would get lapped
1:04 this turn lookn good plus check out the perfect power laid down wheelie all the way up the next face.

Corner speed looks great man
please start upploading in 1080p :)
I was running a tall EE seat and large pegs with grip tape on the mid frame. The large pegs are a no brainer for control of the bike.

Your rippin, Ripppaaaa
What a style!
do you kill the motor with the clutch in some moments inside the rut?

Learn to be quick shifting and putting your weight on the balls of your feet when not shifting
Awesome
The Master !!
👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What track is that??
Dig it!
Is this a Stephen Everts technique ?? His style is like this hardly ever putting a foot out !!
This is Ryno technique! He is king of control.
The weirder you pronounce motorcycle and the more often you say it ...
Ryan can you help me make my dad love me
Pretty sure that's a no and what a weird thing to say even as a joke?🤔
Hey captain obvious thanks
Why #5?
Slow 🥱
Should probably ditch those boots......too restrictive....limits range of motion, haha. “quoted by an influencer of the sport”.
