Great fast breakfast on the go Catherine! 😍 I've made breakfast bowls for years but I've never used the tortilla bowls. I've seen the commercials for them but just never connected them to breakfast. 😋 I love using bacon in mine with potatoes, eggs and cheese! I usually make enough for several days and just take out a helping each morning and put it in a regular bowl.🥣 But using the tortilla bowl would make them completely portable! 😘 Not that I have anywhere to go! 😚 Thanks for sharing another great recipe and introducing us to tortilla bowls! 🥰

In Southeast Asia, they make something similar to this with a rice paper bowl and they call it a “hopper”. First time I ever had a hopper or APPAM it was at a Sri Lankan Restaurant in London. And with the exception of the bowl being made of rice paper instead of flour, the contact is pretty much the same and you can customize them anywhere you wanted to and put all kinds of different things in there. It could be vegetarian or non-vegetarian I was almost the exact same idea. Interesting !

I love this idea! So msny different options to fill the tortilla boats with! My middle son loves the tortilla boats when we eat Mexican food. So i know he will love the Omelette Boats! We normally only use salt and pepper in our eggs but am ALWAYS open to new seasoning in any dish. We are simple people so we are just recently experimenting with new seasonings & spices. That's a lot where you come in at. We have tried so msny of your recipes and every single one has been a huge success with my family. Thank you so much Catherine! I've got some pretty picky eaters in my house so be proud that you have successfully gotten them to eat everything we've made of yours and they have asked to make them again on several occasions. I'm not sure when the kids will be cooking, they both are working a lot.
Turkey sausage or chicken sausage would be a good substitute for the pork sausage.
