In Loving Memory Minerva J Davis

Minerva Jean Davis a retired educator transitioned this life early on December 18, 2021.
Minerva graduated from Lincoln Park Academy (LPA) class of 1969. After graduation she attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education then later attended NOVA University earning a master’s degree in education. She taught elementary education in the St Lucie County School District for 35 years.
She will be remembered for her overall warm friendship, strong relationships, and the love she showed toward others. Her willingness to help students obtain their highest potential by being a good communicator and an effective listener as well as an engaging instructor. As a certified teacher, she mastered the art of teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic to her kindergarten and first grade students. During her tenure she received the Minority Teacher of the Year award, as well as many accolades and special recognition from the Saint Lucie County School District for her service.
