Dair, Bair, and smoke blast setups are generally the safest and most consistent kill options. I also see a lot of people do f-smash cape mixups because being able to cancel it and do stuff out of the first swipe is pretty crazy. Character definitely slept on I feel like a lot of players are underestimating his potential and I think later on he's gonna get more utilized.

Yeah this character takes a while to master and you have to embody the trickster
Smart smoke wins neutral, makes ur kills happen faster and with less disadvantage (smoke to run to or pop out of)
