For seniors, this guy needs to speak English instead of techie words. Can these scammers access your phone by simply phoning you? With a ruse? Like answering an ad for something you are giving away or selling?

Better off using passwords without two factor authentication.

Better off using other two-factor authentication that is not based on SIMs.

This is why two factor authentication is not safer and sounds more dangerous than before

Yes. Authenticator apps with time-based one-time authenticator codes are much more safer.

@@SunnyReads88Just use a strong (i.e. 8 or more character) alphanumeric password. That will be sufficient and is much safer than exposing yourself to security problems in two factor authentication.

One thing we can"t and won't tolerate, is when a person takes their skills, education, experience, and knowledge forbade intentions.

Wow, pretty racist of you! SO glad to know you are (sort of) Canadian. WHAT PROOF do you have that any, NEVER MIND ALL the criminals are of colour???
That's not even just racist but ignorant too.
