I've been using Synkron for a few years. It works on almost any OS and is the same on each. Can also schedule it to run etc

Nice video, Just found out about GRSYNC this morning after backing up a hard drive with it, was going to try and back up my main OS later this week with it as well. I was wondering, if there was anyway to select Multiple Folders to Copy. For example, I am trying to Copy just My Music Documents Downloads and Videos Folder only, not the entire home directory... I also have some select folders I have as well in on my second hard drive. Or do I have to do individual folders per sync?

If I check "ignore existing," will that cause it to ignore a file that I have edited?

If the file being copied already exist in destination it will skip it. For you case you have to use the update option which will copy the newest version of the file.

Why do Linux user apps not explain things for a normal user. As a programmer I was taught to make the system you were coding easy to use by an end user. The option explanations on Grsync will not be obvious to an ordinary end user
