@@matteodesigns5704 I would think the same, but they are one of Ferrari's daughter teams needed to test drivers the way the other teams have. There's Alfa Romeo too but I think they are also used for a holding team and telemetry supplier for Ferrari PUs. In all before this is done there will be the four engine suppliers, then all their daughter teams. If Alpine can climb to the top of the mid field by the end of 2022 I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in another team themselves just to be competitive.

So while the soviet union has fallen, their ideas managed to stay and infect many people living in the usa and western europe specifically.

I know everyone dislikes haas and their way of doing things certainly isn’t leading them in the right direction. But think about this, haas were very competitive in their first 3 seasons of f1 and they have limited budget and staff. It’s very hard to be competitive when you don’t have as much money and resources as the bigger teams. And although mazepin’s actions cannot be forgiven, he is also saving haas from potentially going bankrupt by bringing in UralKali. We need an American team on the grid and we should be a bit more positive about them.
We do need an American team on the grid, but unfortunately, Haas isn't really an American team anymore. I'm an American and I don't feel any affinity for a partial American-sponsored car. I was excited about them when they were first formed, but I don't feel any connection to them anymore. They are trying to please their Russian backers now. A business decision I get it, but it isn't American.

In almost all of his interviews, he doesn't smile or doesn't express anything at all when speaking. No smile is fine, but no expression at all is weird. Even the Ice Man Kimi shows expressions when he's not speaking properly. Mazepin's only case of showing some 'personality' is when he avoided crashing into Hamilton, and even then he didn't sound very genuine.

As an american, I wanna be a HAAS fan, but its kind of tough to like them. Honestly at this point I am just rooting for all teams to improve in hopes of some closer racing and team battles.
Not a US team anymore. They were barely a US team when they started. All the talk of building up the development of the car in the states and developing US drivers is long gone now. I have no interest in the team anymore. I would like to see a US team that I could get behind, but no sign of that any time soon.
"Skipping" the 2021 season is in my opinion the best Haas can do at the moment to recover from two horrible seasons and gaining back the strenght they had in 2018. With two new rookies who are slow but steady learners, a restructuring of the team thanks to Ferrari and the fact that they're backmarkers, sacrificing this season for the teams future is the logical step in the right direction.
Why? The point of signing drivers with money, this year, is that Haas are essentially giving them the necessary experience for 2022 while they cash the cheques.
I think the new ferrari power unit will enable them to edge just ahead of Williams, Williams have too many problems they can't resolve with the chassis carryover from last season imo
I was done with this team after the whole Rich Energy fiasco. Force India turned them down even when they were low on funds, Williams turned them down, all they had to do was a little research...

Everyone outside the U.S don't understand that the U.S flag has a different shade of red and blue, it also has stars on it. So for anyone that says "Oh well, it has red, white, and blue so what dose it matter?", you need to ether learn history or take a closer look at the different shades of colors on each flag, especially since there are about 29 flags with different shades red, white, and blue on them. So for anyone that says "Oh well, it has red, white, and blue so what dose it matter?", you need to ether learn history or take a closer look at the different shades of colors on each flag, especially since there are about 29 flags with different shades red, white, and blue on them. We Americans (at least we should) take great offense to this kind of thing. I wish we all would take a look at every counties flags and learn them so that this kind of thing isn't an issue. It's kinda disrespectful not to.

I know it’s easy to hate on Haas but this is probably the last year they’ll race under that name and it’s likely it won’t be ‘America’s Team’ next year either considering how Gene Haas wants nothing to do with it. As an American F1 fan this’ll probably be the last American thing on the grid. I can only hope that Logan Sergeant can find a way into F2 (which likely won’t happen) and get some interest, he’s America’s last hope
Technically the Williams team was bought by an American Investment/Engineering company. SO if they wanted to push the issue they could be an American Team, but that would hurt them because of the Williams legacy.
