I think it looks terrific. A friend just bought a new T. Nick, you know this already but was shocked to hear how he was treated by the dealer. They forced him to take way more options than he wanted just to get the allocation. Really too bad. The person who saves for years and just wants a base car? Porsche won’t even take your order. 😮
Hey that’s me (McRyan39!)! 😂 I stand by my statement - I LOVE this combo, for exactly the reasons mentioned. The boldness and richness of the interior, as well as the subtle flex of the Manufakturer optioning, contrast really well with the boring vanilla exterior.
PPF DEALER-INSTALLED on my Heritage Targa, and it was flawlessly done. I’m still impressed almost 2 years later. So, I’m proof that it REALLY depends on the quality of the shop to which the Dealer sends you for the work (or, in my case, the shop personnel who come to the Dealer a few times per week). My shop would not allow a PPF pre-cut, and told me so even back then. The real question is whether your Dealer gives you a choice. Nick, your RUclips work is excellent, as always.
Pre-cut can be fine if whoever did the pattern allowed for enough to wrap around the panel edges etc. This just looks like a shit pre-cut to me - compounded by a poor fitment job. Still, as he had to have it to get the car, at least it's easy enough, if pricey, to have it all removed and replaced properly - so it's not the end of the world.
@@Beer_Dad1975 But why should the owner pay to have it done properly if it was done by the dealership? It would be a shoddy job on any car never mind one costing hundreds of thousands. Judging by the dirt ingress the film will be lifting soon and will need replacing anyway.
@@Blade1310 Totally agree, it's pure bullshit on the part of the dealer - but that's what you have to put up with in a lot of places when buying a desirable new car at the moment.
Love ❤ the 992 GTS radiator grilles!! We are kinda partial to them 😊 They are ours! You can get them at Radiator Grille Store The GTS is a great car, agreed, busy ride. Porsche has done an amazing job with creating a naturally aspirated feel and throttle response with the shove of a turbo car.
At first glance it looked like a Mansory interior to me, which I generally hate. But it grew on me because its not blue literally everywhere but toughtfully applied to specific surfaces combined with black leather with blue stitching. I actually rather like it, especially as a contrast to the exterior colour.
Love it! It makes the car feel special without any flash on the exterior. This really appeals since I would rather not be noticed, even in a 911. Pity that many Porsche dealers treat buyers so poorly, though. The factory needs to get a grip on them (assuming they care).
This is awesome. I love those contrast. Boring exterior with bold interior and vice versa, depending on many factors to chose one way or another. Riviera Blue interior with Acid Green exterior looks amazing, but too much almost like a candy lol
It’s bold! This guy has some big stones! Firstly, congratulations for getting an allocation - it’s a MIRACLE! But seriously, it’s a fun interior. I strongly dislike the black interiors that almost everyone puts in these - boring and dark! Porsche gives SO many options. Use them! My biggest applaud to this owner is that they didn’t fall for the moronic matching colored seat belts (uggh) and dial trims. Yes, he colored the dials but in white, not blue. So tasteful! This guy has class. BRAVO!
Not my cuppa, but I do like the color combination. Would have also been nice with GT silver metallic, I think. I also like the little details in the build: As you say-thoroughly personalized.
Nick right away I thought you bought a brand new silver GTS…. Well because I know how much you love that color. 😅Actually it’s a great color when I had a silver Mercedes the cops would leave me alone. I loved it. Plus you hardly never need to wash it. I love the interior. Much better than boring black or grey. Red would have been nice too to contrast with the grey carbon fiber.
The 992 GTS it’s by far the best sports car in this price range. Amazing in the roads and tracks. I have just sold my for a Turbo. I am afraid if I’ll regret it.
Hi Nick. Just a comment on the cameras, for which you have spent a good chunk for sure. These modern ones seem to want to change focus constantly on whatever object is closer. And the focus keeps shifting back and forth from you to the closer hand and so forth. A little annoying as it makes me think my resolutions is going to crap 😂😂
An introverted exterior and an extroverted interior. Interesting. TBH I kind of love the interior, nobody does anything bold or ridiculous anymore. Remember when you could buy cars in monochromatic schemes, teal over teal, maroon over maroon?
I've seen a lot of gawdy, vulgar stuff, and this had the potential to be, but somehow, at least the way its portrayed on camera, isn't. That said, I have a real soft spot for blue and wow, that's really blue. I LOVE IT!
Now that's appropriate music: An der schönen blauen Donau/The Blue Danube...
Don't care what anyone says, that is FANTASTIC
Agreed ❤
100% agree!
I'm not usually into wild interior choices but that is amazing.

Maybe a slightly darker blue would've worked better, but that shade of blue cheapens the interior.
I think that interior is absolutely incredible!
And it’s a manual. Given the rarity of these things and with the unique interior, the owner could see the future value hold up pretty well.
The 992 configurator is capable of some truely beautiful and heinous combinations now.

That color really shows the quality of the interior work
Very cool car. Being different is what makes this a unique piece that no one else will have.
That interior is magnificent
That’s beautiful nick! I never really thought that way on the interior!
Pretty cool!
Wow....that interior is incredible!
Looks amazing
love the interior.
Truly fantastic interior
I love the colour of that interior!
Love the combo!!!
Really nice spec love the blue.
Great video and nice to have you back Nick! Love the car too ❤
Nick, your many vids helped me to select my dream car after 6 months of research. Ended up with a 991.2 S in GT Silver. Thanks!

Looks great!
Nice combo!
Awesome color combo!
Cheers Nick. It’s great and reminds me of the old 993 interiors.
Wow! Look at those seats!
Fabulous to have another video from you ! ❤
Love the blue! 💙💙💙
I wouldnt have picked this colour combination myself, but I love it... what a magic looking car.
In a world full of all black interiors, I love this change.
I'd never have imagined that would look good, but i like it!
Love it!
woaaah, that's stunning. Wish I could see it in real life, I bet the video doesn't do it justice
Definitely unique, bold even. I like the blue interior better than camel or bright red.
It gives me the blues!
That blue interior is way too bright, I love it!
It’s a yes from me too 👍
Interesting interior. Nasty PPF.
Love it! I’d have a blue car all day long with the bright blue interior. Already been on the config’ and it looks awesome!
I like it!
Hi Nick. You’re The Man. Stay Awesome 😎🎩♠️💙
Each to their own and well done the owner for actually doing it. If you like it, and can afford it, why the hell not?!
Love ❤ the 992 GTS radiator grilles!! We are kinda partial to them 😊 They are ours! You can get them at Radiator Grille Store

A party on the inside! I like it.
I like it..
Oh my!

But it grew on me because its not blue literally everywhere but toughtfully applied to specific surfaces combined with black leather with blue stitching. I’d add matching blue Carrera GTS stripes on the doors to complete the look! Car looks good🔥
I’m a big fan of red interiors but this blue is really cool
Nick, we need more content more frequently!
Hey Nick . Good PPF advice .
Combo looks great. Not what I would of gone for but convincing 👍
I thought you said GTS was a waste, glad you liked it, its hot
Matching interior blue on the rims would work for me.
Love it! It makes the car feel special without any flash on the exterior. This really appeals since I would rather not be noticed, even in a 911.

it is unique which by definition will make the car more valuable at some point in the future.. that point may be several decades from now of course.
Brave….can’t imagine it will help resale.
This is awesome. I love those contrast. Boring exterior with bold interior and vice versa, depending on many factors to chose one way or another.
Riviera Blue interior with Acid Green exterior looks amazing, but too much almost like a candy lol
Smurf a licious🤟
i approve
If only it was yellow, huh Nick? Glad to see it, make it your own!
I like the blue interior, by the way.
I saw a new 1991 Cobalt Blue Targa w/blue interior and I am still searching for it. I think I am in love!
Porsche must have slaughtered the whole Smurf village to make this interior.
It’s bold! This guy has some big stones! Firstly, congratulations for getting an allocation - it’s a MIRACLE! But seriously, it’s a fun interior. Maybe not for me but it does look good.
Fab, thanks Nick. Shame about the PPF. Keep well.
Not my cuppa, but I do like the color combination. Would have also been nice with GT silver metallic, I think. I also like the little details in the build: As you say-thoroughly personalized.
nice
not over the top, just bright. Nick review the base C2 !
Well not for me but not my car and if owner likes it enough said. Glad to see the review!
That interior tickles my brain like an a.s.m.r video.
1:06 Plus the lack of Alcantara
The GTS exterior/interior looking like the 1995 Ford GT90 tbh. Only true bangers will remember that car.
When money trumps taste.
The 992 GTS it’s by far the best sports car in this price range. Amazing in the roads and tracks. I have just sold my for a Turbo. I am afraid if I’ll regret it.
You are down grading from a GTS to a Turbo? Why?
Matching flower pots, Nick.
I'd have that interior with Oslo blue 911S and a manual box❤
Reverse the colours, and it’s perfect
I have red/black interior which might be a classic look but It would take me a bit of time to get used to.
astounding combo! My T order isn't locked yet.... hmmmmm
For that kind of money one should also get the seat backs in leather.
Hey Nick, you dissed a beautiful color, Ice Grey 😉
NICK!!!!😂
Hi Nick
I enjoy you honest reviews. I am thinking buying a 911. Do you think 2024 is a good year to do that? Should I wait for the 992.2?
The owner even matched the break calipers to the interior
Brake, not break.
Hey Mansory : that’s how you do colorful interiors
Be proud of me. I got a Lava Orange 🍊 Carrera S.
What I imagine a murdered Smurf crime scene to look like.
Cheers!!!!!💋💝
What is your opinion on/experience with Resistall?
Looks like straight out of a 70's Vette.
No, I had the internal camera set to focus on movement not on face recognition my mistake.
An introverted exterior and an extroverted interior. Interesting. TBH I kind of love the interior, nobody does anything bold or ridiculous anymore. Remember when you could buy cars in monochromatic schemes, teal over teal, maroon over maroon?
That’s gorgeous …. Could you supply details of the PPF and where I can get it for my garden shed! Horrendous 🥴
My eyes!!! My eyes!!! It hurts!!!
I've seen a lot of gawdy, vulgar stuff, and this had the potential to be, but somehow, at least the way its portrayed on camera, isn't. That said, I have a real soft spot for blue and wow, that's really blue. I LOVE IT!
Better than a red interior every day
