One time I was whipping cream for dessert and I kept on beating but it just would not whip. Then suddenly the cream vanished and the only thing in my mixing bowl was a lump of butter. Fresh, unsalted, really expensive butter. When I tell that story, I still have people tell me not to be so stupid because that's not how butter is made.

If you put whipping cream in a shaker with 2 marbles it will make butter. I did this as a science project in 5th grade. I was amazed and now do it as an adult. Just add a little salt.

#48, As a service tech, in those cases when the explanation is NOT crossing the divide, I trick the system on my side to generate a new password, sometimes repeating the operation if the replacement temporary password looks to have similar issues.
On a similar point, part of our protocol was to provide the letters as alpha-bravo-charlie instead of a-b-c. This worked for the military side of a couple, but some of the other folks were unclear on the concept and were entering in the whole word instead of the initial letter. I generally cleared things up by changing how described the letters.

Also, their are different types of dyslexia. Not just reading upside down or reading backwards. 20:00 reminded me of when my one former roommate was heating something up in the microwave, doped up out of his mind and blankly stared at me when I told him not to put metal in the microwave and said 'its a fork not a metal" he's French Canadian btw, so you can imagine the thick French accent he had. You tell him something and he will blankly stare at you and just say "ok" and then do it horribly and stop right as soon as he starts to go get high or work on something else... Barely got a kitchen to cook in but whatever. Man was being scammed left and right too. Y'all have no idea. He got a job, got kicked from the job for not doing his only job (hammering shit) and then started getting scam calls, and giving them all his information, and then invested in Bitcoin. Got another job (hammering again) and every single bit of his paycheck was taken from him and he seen no problem with it. He literally would justify his actions and completely ignore us. But seriously, I felt bad for the guy, not much going on in that head, probably senile actually, given his age. Doesn't understand at all, he's in it with psychedelics and sedatives(🌱)

She still has a hard time believing me and has even been like im not not going to use onions just so you can have your own meal."" You can just eat them like everyone else and like it. I have had to just walk off and not eat to avoid fussing about it and trying to prove it all over again. Similar difficulty with my mom, but maybe a little more complicated. I grew up with my mom thinking I'm allergic/intolerant to dairy and gluten, when I started cooking for myself I discovered I was fine with gluten and dairy but I still had trouble with things that had a ton of fats in them. Then a few years ago I would randomly get weirdly sick at night so bad that I would spend the whole night in the bathroom and with ice packs, I eventually figured out that I had suddenly become mildly allergic to peanuts and any nut based butters. When I explained it to my mom she couldn't believe it, and she still doubts that I'm actually fine with both gluten and dairy. 😓 I also can't handle shellfish, but that's not a common ingredient for us to come across.
But she's so much worse when it comes to my food preferences and actual health problems. My food preferences haven't changed once since I was a kid, and yet she still offers me food that has stuff I hate in it. Her excuse "You might have changed your mind in the last 5 minutes since you said no."
Then there's my aunt..... I tell her I have a certain health problem and try to explain to her why it's rough for me to live a normal life (it's an auto immune/cancer like problem, very painful, organs struggle to function properly and sort of try to destroy themselves or each other), and then she goes and ignores everything I said and tries to help treat me for, drum roll please..... IBS! 😑 No matter what I say she just keeps pushing the idea that it's just IBS. And both her and my mom try to compare their previous 1 bad night pains with my 24/7 (uncureable) pain that has sent me to the ER a couple of times. BTW, when I needed the ER, I didn't have the energy to even open my eyes the pain was so bad, my phone is literally my life line, but my mom just HAD to stay in bed the whole time and go to work the next morning. I am so fucking lucky to have my dad, he's my superman in every way, he's always there for me when no one else is. ❤ ...I have no idea what he saw in my mom. 🥴
And my mom is SO CONVINCED that a certain medication will help me that every single chance she gets she tries to push it on me, I quickly grew tired of explaining to her that the medication she's talking about could actually just permanently make my life a whole lot worse. 😬☠ Once she gets an idea in her head, NO ONE can tell her different, she'll even force you into doing what she says if you give her the slightest chance. I was eager to run away from home at 16 just because of her and it has only gotten worse since. It's insanely frustrating to be so physically disabled and to have your own family members not listen when I say "No." At least I'm not glued to a wheelchair, because I bet even then they would say "you're so lazy, just stand up, you should be able to do things just like everyone else".

Well, while they may not be directly connected to one another, that is still a very good practice simply because the tampon itself shouldn't be left in any longer than you would wear a pad, which is about as often as one should need to pee.

No, we just need to make education standardized, no home schooling unless medically necessary, no religion in school. Teach history, geography, science, and all teachers have to pass a test and if they answer on the test that the earth is flat it’s an automatic fail and grounds to deny credentials and refuse them to retest ever again. Also critical thinking is a must teach/pass requirement.

In defense of the young people in their 20s and 30s like myself who can’t read and o’clock I am thinking that’s a part of our times of all generations and I Judge RIDE for years upon years upon years to learn how to read and log I only gave up trying to learn six years ago, so I was 25 before I finally gave up trying to learn how to read analog Does it help that? I also happen to have autism and nonverbal learning disabilities as well as dyslexia that wasn’t diagnosing. Tall is 19. Yeah it took me to 25 to finally give up the effort of at least trying to eventually learn it and like I said I try to drive from the time I was five years old till I was 25 so I spent 20 years trying to actually learn how to read an analog clock, which is more than most people from my generation would go and try to struggle to learn most people from my generation. I’m sure stopped in middle school, if not before, then the fact that I was a college, aged adult old enough to drink alcohol, and a quarter of a century old before I give up and with all those obstacles in my path well the diagnoses that could be considered obstacles where did Pernell difficult for people out there who am I Asian current learned and give up before they hit mill school-age, so before the rain to the six grade so I’ve given up by the age of 11 and here I was with autism and nonverbal learning disabilities in the open tall is 19 an undiagnosed dyslexia and ice still tried so hard try for forget swimmers going through his garage tried to college so it’s not just that one. Oh peas people that I know is I think it’s pretty common for my generation do not know analog input. Some of us is not for lack of trying because I can’t read it and I cried Josh tried it was obstacles in the path that other pumas might not have so sometimes there isn’t someone in there trying to throw his might not be able to download might not be there for it might not be because they didn’t try because it’s important right here 30 years in my 30s and I tried for 20 straight years was 25 before I gave up and had medical diagnoses to affect my learning one that I was Ori adult when I got diagnosed with because 19 is an adult this is a Greenwich in adult because you turn an adult at 18, so so if I can’t hit if I could at least get to that all for trying you can’t blame me for not knowing because I tried yeah I’m sure it is give up my generation who just didn’t really care of tax or try, but that’s not all of us and that’s why I just always wear a digital watch and also it doesn’t help that I am also slowly going blind and really struggle to see if you get on it I’m not fully blind from Luverne white cane and also that also has gone against me with the reading analog

I was at a convenience store during Covid era. All I needed was to stop in an use the ATM. I didn’t wear a mask, especially as I saw employees weren’t wearing masks. I walk in and this idiot cashier says “you have to wear a mask.”
I look at her maskless face and say “but…. You… you’re literally not wearing one. And there’s not even a plexiglass divider at the counter. You, without a mask, are telling me that I must wear one.”
    “It’s story policy sir”
“It’s store policy for you not to wear masks but to command others to wear them? You are completely delusional.”
I raised the bottom of my shirt to my nose and said “this is as good a mask as any.”
    “Sir! Sir you need to…”
“No, no, leave me alone, I’m going to withdraw this cash and I’m never coming back to this store.”
It was wild. What’s more wild is some of you probably acted like that too.
