Aww those mince pies looked yummy! I’ve got to ice my square Christmas cake and I’m now thinking I should of done a round one as my first one, I keep putting it off lol. I also can’t find my lovely cake decorations which I’ve had since the children were young so are so sentimental… I’ve torn my kitchen apart looking but no, can’t find them so had to buy a couple of new ones l. The other will (hopefully) turn up as soon as others arrive! lol Have a lovely day 🥰 xx
I like the size of the smaller mince pies , I like them but sometimes even the normal sized one are a bit too rich for me ! Haha Bilbo was looking at your mince pie then looking at you but he was also dozing off 😆 so cute ! I did some crafty shopping online this afternoon . Hubby gave me my Christmas present early I bought lots of lovely craft things 😊 xxxx
The mince pies looked delicious Belinda. I’ve had my very first yarn Advent this year and it’s from My Yarny Corner and I’m also going to make the Dust of Snow shawl. I’ve also got Layfamily Yarn’s weekly one and I’m enjoying opening them all so much 😊
Wonderful Penny, it’s so exciting isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever had so much yarn and it’s quite exciting to make plans with what to make with them 😘
My icing was hard too but it rolled out fine but was far too much for my square cake. We started our cake on Sunday when I had to cut it to go into storge tins, it was very nice witha coffee. That was a novel way to wind your yarn lol. I need to try it. xx
One thing I wasn’t born with was the love of cooking or baking ,I hate it…when I watch you I think I’d buy that ha ha ha …my mom always baked and Christmas we had lovely cakes and minced meat pies…not any more…

Why are you struggling with door handles when there’s a swift beside you? 🤔 I was thinking how your confidence has grown so much. Last year you wouldn’t have been infront of the camera with normal hair day and eyebrow dye. Now you just do it with your lovely giggle too! 😄Even the family join in. It’s doing you good 🥰

The mince pies look delicious Bellinda! Could i please ask would you cook them before freezing or freeze and cook from frozen? Xx
I put them in the freezer uncooked and just pull them out when I want to bake them, brush with egg and add another 5 minutes to the cooking time xx
