That princess is one beautiful model. The firebox flicker I’m keen to see more of in future models. A nice feature really. Looking forward to the o gauge layout develop especially the garden railway aspect. O gauge is growing on me more since ready to run models are being produced more. It’s a great time to be a model railroader! Clint
Really enjoyed this video, so many aspects to it. Mini reviews, layout progress, that fantastic O gauge 37 plus Model Rail Scotland. More of this kind pleeeaase
Thanks for posting love the class 37 and Sealink coaches, I have in my collection. I got the Bachmann collectors club Sealink pack and added on to them. looking forward to March 5th April issue of magazine, great magazine every month
What impresses me ,& I think it’s something us back ,age sufferers should take note of ,is the height of the layout and how it’s at the perfect working level. I probably like many have built mine to low ,and after a while you have backache. My next layout will definitely be at that level. Great post Andy
Here’s food for thought. On full size railway we have ballast shoulders 125 high and 375 mm wide. At the sleeper ends . Prevents track buckles. Plus if we had sleeper ends visible it would create a crt site. So ever Hornsby layout I have seen would require watchman in the heat
What locos would you guys like to see a model of? We definitely need more diesel shunters like the classes 01 and 02. I wanna see NER No. 66 Aerolite and Dübs crane tank No. 401.
LNER A8 tank, LNER U1 garratt, LNER V4, LMS Turbomotive, SR Leader, SR 4DD, a modern spec GWR Saint, a WD 2-10-0, class 124 transpennine units, a standard 3 77xxx, and a standard 2 tank 84xxx, plus a re-release of the Hornby Standard 6 Clan. And for more modern modellers, loads more EMUs, including networkers, desiros, electrostars, more hornby AT300s including TPE, 397s, pep-based units inc 313s and 455s, 1st gen emus (specifically a wypte 308 for me), 319/320/321/322/323/456s, 332/333s for those modelling paddington to heathrow or west yorkshire, tyne and wear metro units, class 399 tram trains, also TPE class 185s, and I'm sure the Parry People Movers (class 139) will be popular because theyre so small.
Like all your videos I'm really new to this and using as much hornby as possible but building my layout POMPEY YARD model railway on a pulley hoist system I have put some videos on thank you keep up the good work
Nice update guys. Looking forward to the video on west coast cement and possibly seeing that at basingstoke aswell. Did i imagine it or is 12 trees junction going to be at ally pally this year?
Twelve Trees won’t be at Ally Pally, but it will be returning at the Great Electric Train Show in October 10/11. We’re looking forward to taking West Coast Cement out for a spin at Basingstoke. 😁
Hi guys I though you have been in my loft when I saw the BR scotrail sealink mk1 and the sleeper train from my model of stranraer line and wcml set in the 1980s I have the same two class20 to on my mgr coal train clive

Great post
Andy
Its great, saves your back and allows an 'O' gauge loop or storage underneath.
Most enjoyable !! I like the mixture of reviews and updates plus a little masterclass too ……...Cheers Kev
Thanks Kev, Glad you enjoyed it!

Good job they're built for watching 😁
Bit behind on your videos very good enjoyed
Enjoyable. Rainbow Railways do a beautiful job. Bought four of their models at the Model Show Scotland, with Legomanbiffo sound fitted.
Ha I brought one, regards Richard
Great progress on the 0 & 00 layout's. Looking forward to more updates. Nice footage from MRS, there were certainly some nice layout's there. GWR
Thanks!
Nice video. About 30 minutes for updates seems good to me. Just time to sit back for a cuppa and a choccie biscuit and enjoy the show.
Oooo now that sounds like a good idea, I'll see if I can sneak some in while filming hehe

Nice ballasting
Thanks!
The 37 startup sounded great. Thanks for the video. Hope Richard didn't over indulge on haggis, LoL. Regards Bobby 'T'.
Haggis and black pudding for breakfast... Richard didn't want to leave!
awesome content
Thanks
Very impressive indeed, I just wonder if and when Ewood Railway will appear on this channel?
Let's make it happen!
Richard's face when thy finished talking about the 156 read: Can I play with it yet?
You know it haha
wot was theblue 25 used for ...was it heating/boilier for the sleepers ???
I got excited for a minute seeing Northern by arriva 156 thinking real track was doing it but slightly disappointed now .But good collection
You can buy them from Realtrack
Hornby Magazine aw brilliant thanks
Is the O gauge the same as HO
What's the make of underlay for the track and make of bridge please
The Cork sheet is by Gaugemaster and the Bridge kits are Wills who are distributed by PECO. 😊

Ha we'll put them back when we're done! 🤣
What radius curves are the curves on the large O gauge layout?
The inside line is second radius 😁
Hornby Magazine How many mm is a second radius O gauge curve?
@@tgk300xx4 40.5" if memory serves.
Hornby Magazine Thank you very much. It will allow me to figure out what radius I need
Hornby Magazine It cannot be 40.5” Radius for the loop. There is no way the diesel locos would run on such a tight curve?
The white thing is missing...
White thing?
Nice video.
Thanks Rob
I have no interest in the reviewed models in 4mm or 7mm to the foot, but really enjoyed the vid. Thanks!
Thanks Philip
The Queen was eight when that Loco was named after her!
Nice!
@Iain Botham I didn't know that. Princess Margaret was of course younger than the Queen also, but as she isn't still alive, seemed less interesting.
Good video but the prices of these items just seem to just keep on increasing.
Don't forget all prices quoted are full RRP, the prices are normally less in the shops.
At least your Rocket arrived working & not damaged! Mine arrived Thursday & went back 1 hour later as it was a total dud! Hornby's QC is a joke!
That's a shame, hopefully they'll sort you out ASAP!
@@hornbymag I really hope so... £190 is a lot for something that doesn't work from the factory.
@@BoaFilmsPlc it's well worth the wait
@@hornbymag Would be a lot better if QC was better.
when will Chinese-Hornby catch up to the rest of the world? cheers, Mark
That's a question for Hornby Hobbies!
awesome video
Thanks
