I think relationships are best done when God is at the center and seeking advice from bible scripture . There's level of love we as humans are unable to unlock by our own ways of thinking and understanding.

Why is it that when social media influencers reach a certain level they then say “I shouldn’t have this much influence” or “it’s not my job to influence” when quite literally that’s how you got there. Your goal was to become a social media influencer which has afforded you to become an “entertainer” now. Just be truthful and not try to seem humble.

    • @NBk-c6s

It is really bizarre watching this. Some of my students say they watch bbc podcasts so I have come to check out a bbc podcast. This is just odd.
I am used to much higher standards when it comes to media I consume and most media I consume is podcasts.
From the 1990s American ghetto hand gestures to the poor grammar and poor command of spoken English, to the content which is just gossip, this is just such a low standard of content.
I was shocked to learn towards the end that these people are in their 30s. They speak like teenagers. I thought they were in their early 20s. The level of conversation, the level of thought in this is what my friends and I showed in PSE classes when we were twelve. I want my children to have better than I have etc. this is not revelatory nor revolutionary in any way. It is what every generation wants.
There is no factual content. No reference to any books they have read, no reference to any studies, any psychologists, any health information, nothing that is of value. It is gossip plain and simple. Such low quality content.
Then there is the criminal activity that is open and laughed about. One of the women says she set up a fake internet account so that she can stalk a man she likes online. That is criminal behaviour. Stalking is a criminal offence and totally immoral, yet they are all laughing about it, and then she says she is a born again Christian. Not behaving like that she’s not. When you are born again, you die to yourself and make each thought obey Christ.
The whole hypocrisy towards the end about modelling behaviour and not letting your child have an internet account so that they can’t create a character online, when that is what the male does as a living. The women saying you don’t know who people are online but they have both created fake accounts to post things they don’t want to post under their own name.
    So hypocrites and immoral.
And then we have the female in a very short dress, no bra and she is almost falling out of the top of it. Is this really a good look? When female podcasters putting our far better content - who are Black - wear suits and have a high level of education and a high command of the English language.
This podcast just plays into negative stereotypes of Black Brits. I don’t know if the people in the podcast or those watching it realise.
There are Black content makers out there who have high intellect, dress in suits, have degrees and high intellect plus a great command of the English language.
Is this what the bbc thinks is great Black content? I can see from the comments below that all the Black people commenting think that this is great content. A poor command of the English language, poor morals and nothing of value, just gossip. This is what people think is great Black content?
Two of my uncles were Black. They spoke their own language perfectly and spoke not only English perfectly but also French. Both were classically trained concert level musicians and became millionaires in London through building a business in property, on which one of my uncles worked in the business repairing the flats himself, plus he employed people with longterm issues such as addiction. He sought to house people with longterm issues. He wanted to give back and honour God by the work he did.
I come from a shitty little crime ridden town in the north east of England. A man from my shitty little town is now one of the top English language podcasters in the world. He started by interviewing local friends who were personal trainers and friends training be doctors and they spoke about physical and mental health. He grew his podcast by reading and interviewing some of the top experts in the world for what they do. Psychologists, statisticians, women’s reproductive health experts and more. One of the most popular and high quality podcasts in the English language by a man from my crime ridden shitty little town.
He worked hard, he gained two degrees, he reads widely on astrophysics, psychology, health and fitness, dating, female health and more. He also hired a speech and language coach and tried to learn a new word every day because he cares about his language.
Seriously, is this podcast what the bbc is proud to put out? Is this what Black Londoners think is good quality content and something to love?
This podcast is just bizarre, what I would expect from teenagers, low rent and just poor in every way. And people think it’s good?
