A RUclipsr couple (Chibo) from Germany has already started to build but they are still the only one in Tempah Hills.
And fun fact: only locals can build and own a house in Lombock. First you have to start a company and the house etc. belongs to that company. A little complicated for foreigners.
Probably delayed due to corona. But some german RUclipsrs build the first house in their village and they faced so many issues during the build without getting any help whatsoever. They even had to move out of the house multiple times due to ongoing building defects, which is so frustrating. Just by their experience I wouldnt recommend anyone to build a house there, especially not if you cannot be on site during the entire construction phase.

Jon, please do not put too much pressure on yourself, you will only find a bit of balance and cure your exhaustion if you do things because they feel good, not by doing them to reach a very ambitious goal. I know it is hard because it is your personality to be a crazy, creative, sportive and ambitious perfectionist but perhaps it helps to concentrate on just being playful and feeling good (because isn‘t that a side of you as well?).

As a dad i instinctively focused on what Leon was doing in the background at the beginning of the vlog... funny how he (like all kids) looks back to see what mommy and daddy are doing before trying something he knows he shouldnt...lol

Great to see you're back to Vlogs Jon!! Time flies, can't believe Leon is already walking and doing some squads! ;) Fun story, Helena use to be docked in front of my flat in London at St. Katherine's Docks. I use to walk past it every morning on my way to work. The world is so small! Finally If you guys feel like it, check the motivational running video published a few weeks ago in my new channel. So funny seeing Leon look back at you guys at the bottom of the stairs. I have a little boy and we just moved into a house with stairs and he is non-stop trying to climb them.
Woke up today feeling tired and low on energy. Got the notice on my phone, opened youtube and went to Jons channel to start the video. Already 28 seconds in I feel happy and full of energy

Running 3K in under 10 min is serious athlete level. Hitting 14 -12 min is considered really fit, I mean the world record for men is 7 min and women 8 min. Its good to have goals but to hit less than 10 min at 35+ age is gonna be a real challenge. Keep up the training but don't beat yourself up if you cant keep up with times you hit 20 years ago
I love how you give us a look at how you think, and how we all struggle with pushing ourselves to do better!

Dont feel bad - but don't stop..
It got burned out with my first kid (she's 5 today and I'm 31) and everything was so messy in my head. Looking back, I really wish I would have recorded more video as before the burnout.
It took me 4 years to get O.K again. I quit my high payed job as a "boss" and focused on video, photography and family!
Jon, whatever you do - everybody here loves what you do because of YOU! Not the quality of your vlogs or crazy things. We just like your personality and kindness.
Keep on going my friend. Family and your mind is what matter the most.. Be yourself... :-)

I wouldn`t focus too much on your pulse unless you are planning on becoming more structures in order to achieve that goal:
4 easy runs (ca 75% of max puls / being able to speak in complete sentences without dying)
2 intervals/hard runs ( ca 90% of max puls / as hard as you can, but being able to complete each "set" about the same pace)
Tons of great videos out there, but I would highly recommend specific 3000m test-intervals. F.ex.: 800m x 4 @3000m goal time, 2m break between. Then decreasing the breaks by 30sec per week. That will get you used to the pace, and improve your overall capacaty. Also the standard 4x4 min intervalls are great.

17:30 that jet ski sounds like a fighter jet ...and I'm pretty sure you loosing your vision is all the blood rushing to the back side of your body, much like fighter pilots experiencing reverse G's pulling blood way from the top of their bodies.
