as a 54 yo I have felt distress over the direction of music for nearly 20 years now. Not so much after watching this. There are some from the new generation who still get it! Thank you Ally for restoring my faith! Rock on Girl!

@@russnurse2b807 When recommending Orianthi, one should always add the caveat that her career is full of highs and lows. As an 18 year old Santana fan she was brilliant (she sounded so much like him but with her own ideas) but she let them turn her into a vapid pop princess, and let Steve Vai turn her into a clone of him. She can play awesome blues but still gives the odd disastrous performance - she needs to get away from that drunken bum Richie Sambora. Laura Cox is a very accomplished, consistent musician but lacks soul. If you want a guarantee that something will be quite good, listen to Laura Cox. If you want to take a gamble, listen to Orianthi and you will be be blown away - either in a good way or a bad way.

I stumbled across her music only yesterday (via an Allman Family show) - and I'm an absolutely dedicated fan now!
A shame I didn't hear from her much earlier!
From playing on a trailer bed in 2019 to killing it with Kingfish and Mr Buddy Guy to a sold out show in 2023. Incredible talent

Saw her performance in June at WC Handy blues and barbecue festival. She put on a great performance, Every bit on par with Samatha Fish who has played WC Handy twice. I saw both and and think Samatha Fish is a tremendous performer also!

Ally wenable, WOW. Only found her on yourtube the other day and can’t stop listening. I have never come across a young version of the blues. Most with her talent goes pop. It is refreshing to hear a modem blues and man can she play the guitar. You know someone has talent when they play live and they still sound good, a lot of singer only sound good in the sound booth

Having been a fan of ally venable music of approximately 2 years ! I now get my first opportunity to catch a live show! So board a plane in the UK for the show at godset kolding Denmark Monday 14th November a really good venue having just returned from the venue after seeing erja lyytinen show on September 26 and And erja's set is terrific live! A double delight for me ally show Will be more of the same 😎😎

Ally appeals ... greatly ... to all ages, teens to 80 year olds or more. I am a few days shy of the latter and am a dedicated fan. 'Grew up in several parts of East Texas, so identify a bit. SRV would be so proud of her carrying on the ... tradition! 'Wish Ally would play summers at one of the Blues festivals nearby. ... :)

that band is incredibile and outstanding, laying down very effettive and tasty grooves.
the drummer and the keyboardist are phenomenal, the bassist has a crisp and huge sound and the guitarist has a terrific voice and a quite brilliant bending tecnique; she's also very fast and has a nice che contro over her tone and feedbacks
could not have put it better myself, I have said in later videos that to me she is the female version of JB in so many ways.

WOW, WOW, What a brilliant Guitar Player absolutely STUNNING, she said her influence was Steve Ray Vaughan but there is a lot of Jimi Hendrix in her style and playing and Steve Ray Vaughan was influence by Jimi Hendrix. wishing ALLY much success. It's unbridled expression ..... coloring outside the lines. I like the improvisation. It's not note for note and sometimes it doesn't make musical sense and I think that's what I like about it. 👍

There's plenty of guitarists that can play and sing at this bar band level. But if she's only 20 her music should mature. Meanwhile I'll spend my time listening to others. The thrill ain't there yet, but maybe some day.

I think the looks of the other band members will prevent them from going mainstream. Yes, it's terrible that looks matters but it is the entertainment business. Because if she looked like the bassist would most people be watching her videos

Strat sounds much better then anything I have heard from you. Check out Fender twin and a Marshall plexi with greenbacks not vintage 30”s. I have sold gear and play it and must say your tone is everything. Your strat sounds good although I would try other pickups. My favorite is the 60s fender custom shop or the 50s also I really like. Sounds like you have Texas tone pickups like SRV. Try the 60s if possible.
