A youngster went missing on our rez in Northern Canada for a week and then suddenly showed back up at home clean and no worse for wear. When asked where she had been and with who,she told her parents parents "the little people took care of her and brought her back home, she said they were in the mountain caves.
I seen one of these as a child. I waved and it waved back. I went to tell some my mom about it and when I turned around it was gone. I was later told that I will live a long peaceful life and that only those with no hate or evil in them can see them but not many can communicate with them. As such I'm now 41 and never spent a day in prison or ever been in trouble I helped another of folks and will continue to do so.
Never saw a wee folk but saw an adolescent native American boy watching me play in my grandma's back yard when i was maybe 7 yo. It wasn't Halloween and he was dressed in deer skins and beads that looked very genuine to me. He was standing on the neighbor's side of an old fence but the neighbor's house was long abandoned. Fwiw this was in Mount Lebanon, PA, an urban neighborhood in Pittsburgh not in woodlands as weird things often seem to occur. ✌️
Makes me immediately think of David Paulides "Missing 411" series, about people who disappear without a trace. Some of the commonalities in these missing cases is proximity to water, berry picking and a sudden change of bad weather which interferes in the search for the missing persons. Also many people (if found) are found in impossibly far distances and in places which are difficult to reach.
My friend Steve who is older than I am said to me he saw a couple of little people once. They wore what looked like older style clothing. He got a good enough look to mention it to me years later. In Elvin cove AK.

I live in northern canada, ive never seen a little person but ive seen evidence of little people. I'm tongue in cheek but serious too. We're subject to the same rules (gotta eat and living in communities makes that easier for the group) so it makes sense to me that similarities like these would exist.
Its said that deep in the woods of the rez I live on, little people can be found. My aunt used to get visits by them when she was a real young kid, and some people even had little people living in their basements from what I heard once
When I was around 4 or 5 and my mom trusted me to be alone in the tub with the door closed, little people about 5" would come out of a loose wall tile and run around the bathroom floor doing various things from leap frog, dancing, piggy back rides and just being silly. I would just rest my chin on my hands on the tub lip and watch them. When they heard my mom coming back to check on me they'd all wave and run back into the loose tile. One day I checked the tile and it was solid, not even a slight movement.

I firmly believe in the little people, I even think I saw one before. I do know the legends warnings where if you're going to move stuff in the garden around or dig, it's best to acknowledge them by saying sorry and leaving a small handful of tobacco and a small jar of whisky in the property corner, apparently they really like that... I have seen clips where they've been caught on nannycams and such. Ther's a real shortage of gardenspace these days so they must be feeling the pinch too, like the rest of us!
There were what people called a Pygmy race arond the world. They had an average of three feet some four feet. The Cherokee called them Moon Eyed children. The Cherokee also fought with them. It it is said that they made quick friends with the Giants. The reason the Cherokee called them Moon Eyed children, was because they were nocturnal. These people were very mischievous and savage. I know of a very old cemetery in Ohio. Ive heard of one in Tennessee. Because of the humidity in Midwestern and East. The skeletons go to dust when unearted. In the Southwest such as New Mexico. There bodies are mummified. These have been found in New Mexico and Arizona.

That's absolutely true, sometimes. I never have (taken "shrooms" or had hallucinations aside from a fever once) but I have seen things that I, despite my engineering degrees, can't explain. There's no shame in admitting that you don't WANT to see weird things. There is some shame, tho, in implying those who see weird things are schizophrenic or on drugs...Life is easier for those who don't so most of us who Do see things would rather not - it's no fun being disparaged by our fellow humans even when it's low-key. ❤️🩹 ✌️
I think these stories may be a connecting element between the beleif that we may not have been the first sentient people on earth. But after millions of years there is not much left to show that possibility. Yup. Fringe science/archeology mixed with old stories.
They're drunken little bastards, and they'll steal anything that isn't bolted down, if it's bolted down they'll come back the following day with some tools to steal it. And fuckin swear.... the little bastards curse and swear like a drunken sailor.

You could farm on Greenland in the past?
Description of fairy features are different because they have magic and magic affects everyone's perception
Differently...that my theory and I'm sticking to it 😂
Of course ❤, I don't understand people who don't.😢
We call Our Rye, little people.
The wilderfolk as I know them
We probably shouldn't talk about the fair folk so much don't ya think?
What do ya guys think lol
Have you ever seen one?
Just had a thought, that possibly some fires in the forest started due to little people’s fire getting out of control in the volatile dry months?
Sometimes people have hallucinations if they eat magic mushrooms or do certain drugs.
❤️🩹 ✌️
Bring this woman to the Rez in cattaraugus western Newyork she would never be the same after a night alone in the woods

Never mind, there aren't any stories from Saskatchewan so you're good 😂
🌠🌠🌠🌠
I think these stories may be a connecting element between the beleif that we may not have been the first sentient people on earth. But after millions of years there is not much left to show that possibility. Yup. Fringe science/archeology mixed with old stories.
Hello Baby.!

Southeastern Ohio. Very wooded and hilly. Mutants.
W. PA here. The folks I grew up with seem like mutants too. It's just the inbreeding. 😜

They look like an Ewok 👀
They're drunken little bastards, and they'll steal anything that isn't bolted down, if it's bolted down they'll come back the following day with some tools to steal it. And fuckin swear.... the little bastards curse and swear like a drunken sailor.
