A youngster went missing on our rez in Northern Canada for a week and then suddenly showed back up at home clean and no worse for wear. When asked where she had been and with who,she told her parents parents "the little people took care of her and brought her back home, she said they were in the mountain caves.

I seen one of these as a child. I waved and it waved back. I went to tell some my mom about it and when I turned around it was gone. I was later told that I will live a long peaceful life and that only those with no hate or evil in them can see them but not many can communicate with them. As such I'm now 41 and never spent a day in prison or ever been in trouble I helped another of folks and will continue to do so.

Never saw a wee folk but saw an adolescent native American boy watching me play in my grandma's back yard when i was maybe 7 yo.
It wasn't Halloween and he was dressed in deer skins and beads that looked very genuine to me. He was standing on the neighbor's side of an old fence but the neighbor's house was long abandoned.
Fwiw this was in Mount Lebanon, PA, an urban neighborhood in Pittsburgh not in woodlands as weird things often seem to occur.

Makes me immediately think of David Paulides "Missing 411" series, about people who disappear without a trace. Some of the commonalities in these missing cases is proximity to water, berry picking and a sudden change of bad weather which interferes in the search for the missing persons. Also many people (if found) are found in impossibly far distances and in places which are difficult to reach.

I hope this letter finds you well on this joyous occasion of your most recent upload. I myself, standing of short stature, am amply excited for this specific topic. But as much as this video floods my heart with joy and fervor, I must implore you to make such a video of my sweet homeland, Newfoundland. Such and undertaking may be monumentous, but I believe you and your talents are suited for such a task. Hearing your sweet voice telling the tales of my childhood would be honey to my ears. I live in northern canada, ive never seen a little person but ive seen evidence of little people. Theres a small island near my hometown, on that island has a very small cave that goes into the island, on the beach of that island i saw a set of very small footprints, about 1 inch ahead of each footprint were toenails digging into the sand that lead to the very small cave opening.(The cave opening was less the 2 feet tall and the foot prints were about 5 inches long")

When I was around 4 or 5 and my mom trusted me to be alone in the tub with the door closed, little people about 5" would come out of a loose wall tile and run around the bathroom floor doing various things from leap frog, dancing, piggy back rides and just being silly. I would just rest my chin on my hands on the tub lip and watch them. When they heard my mom coming back to check on me they'd all wave and run back into the loose tile. One day I checked the tile and it was solid, not even a slight movement.

@@catherinedileo7393 Historically, native Americans would smoke certain plants to take an out of body experience to another level of awareness. By suppressing mind blocking inhibitions. It involves much more than smoke though, there's meditation and years of training. Look at those people who hit there head and all of a sudden they can do extreme math in there head, or are instant artists or can suddenly play like a concert pianist. By our lifestyle's and physical makeup we are blind to many things, our brains are so cluttered we tune most of it out. Our eyes are capable of seeing so much more that the brain filters out.

I never believed in "Little Folk" until my family moved into an apartment when I was in my mid 30s. The entire time living there trauma and havoc happened to everyone that lived there. We lived there the longest being nearly 9 month's.
One night as I was severely ill I had a lucid dream of two troll or other type beings were living under our apartment in the garage and I even knew their name's, which described negative personality affects. I was told that everyone that ever had anything to do with the building were affected by these two beings. Even after moving out it took me years to shake off the negative consequences of living there. I'm not saying that they alone caused it but we were attracted to it because of all the negative things we were going through at the time.

What are you talking about lol the Europeans didn’t bring this idea here lol. White people here ok. But the mythology of little people in Canada is thousands of years old and there was no alcohol here before Europeans. Has it ever occurred to you that Europe isn’t the centre of the universe and Europe didn’t create culture around the world? If you want to say fae and leprechauns are because your ancestors were alcoholics in Ireland then fine. But lose the “progenitor” fantasy. Other cultures developed for tens of thousands of years not knowing Ireland even existed.

I had a friend in HS who swore she saw people of some kind about 6 inches tall. She would be teased mercilessly for insisting she saw them, people calling her psycho, crazy, weird, etc. I saw her a couple times in our late 20's or so and she swore up and down that she actually saw them. It never made any sense why she would continue saying it as she never sought any fame or anything from the experience and wasn't treated very nice as kids for saying she had seen them. Apparently it was near a beach while she was on vacation near some sand dunes. I forget what state she said it was in but it was in the US somewhere. I always found it odd as she was a very sweet and kind person, very quiet, and never the type to seek attention or popularity in school.

    The Mythology of Tara
There is a vast abundance of mythological material relating to Tara, and it is mentioned in many of the Irish stories, when events often occur at Samhain. The hill is said to be named after Tea, a goddess. The hill is also associated with Queen Maeve, a landscape goddess, probably imported from Connaught during the medieval times.
The hill is said to be a residence of Lugh of the Long Arm, one of the chief deities of the Tuatha De Danann and hero of the Second Battle of Moytura by Lough Arrow in County Sligo. One of the monuments at Tara is a huge ringfort called Rath Lugh, now partially ploughed out and destroyed, is named after Lugh.

I firmly believe in the little people, I even think I saw one before. I do know the legends warnings where if you're going to move stuff in the garden around or dig, it's best to acknowledge them by saying sorry and leaving a small handful of tobacco and a small jar of whisky in the property corner, apparently they really like that... I have seen clips where they've been caught on nannycams and such. Ther's a real shortage of gardenspace these days so they must be feeling the pinch too, like the rest of us!

There were what people called a Pygmy race arond the world. They had an average of three feet some four feet. The Cherokee called them Moon Eyed children. The Cherokee also fought with them. It it is said that they made quick friends with the Giants. The reason the Cherokee called them Moon Eyed children, was because they were nocturnal. These people were very mischievous and savage. I know of a very old cemetery in Ohio. Ive heard of one in Tennessee. Because of the humidity in Midwestern and East. The skeletons go to dust when unearted. In the Southwest such as New Mexico. There bodies are mummified. These have been found in New Mexico and Arizona.

Sometimes people have hallucinations if they eat magic mushrooms or do certain drugs.

    • @JimmyMatis-h9y
      @JimmyMatis-h9y 18 дней назад +1

      That's absolutely true, sometimes.
I never have (taken "shrooms" or had hallucinations aside from a fever once) but I have seen things that I, despite my engineering degrees, can't explain.
There's no shame in admitting that you don't WANT to see weird things. There is some shame, tho, in implying those who see weird things are schizophrenic or on drugs...Life is easier for those who don't so most of us who Do see things would rather not - it's no fun being disparaged by our fellow humans even when it's low-key.

I think these stories may be a connecting element between the beleif that we may not have been the first sentient people on earth. But after millions of years there is not much left to show that possibility. Yup. Fringe science/archeology mixed with old stories.
