Good job! These Kawasaki engines are great. I bought an old Wright stander like yours with a "bad engine". Took the head apart and the valve seat had come loose (due to overheating/not maintaining). Tapped it in with a hammer lol (didnt even remove valve). Put it all back together with the same old gaskets (not recommended) and it fired right up perfect. 1.5 hour worth of tinkering and it's runs perfect.
great vid ken, just bought a scag v ride down in sudbury ma, for $100 nothing wrong with it besides it burns a little oil, i’m 16 and have a little mowing operation so it works great for me
Some years ago I bought a Bobcat sit down mower for $700 and it turned out that it needed a new carburetor & some light maintenance. I still have her today . My goal is get my ole 60” Great Dane mower running again so I’ll have to send it to a shop cause I’m not that mechanically inclined.
Cool setup. I gotta do a video like this soon. Going to scoop a new Ferris Z3x 52 today finally just sold me sit down exmark 48” and ready to rock all Ferris standers with my little ninja 🥷 36” gate mower
Very nice video Ken. I got a WrightStanderMower 52 free and I bought a new 19hp oem kaw replacement engine. I’m having trouble with the wire harness and where all the wires connect.l Where can I find someone to help wire it correctly? I don’t have a trailer to transport it. Also what battery does it require? I appreciate any help. Thanks. Johnny
You can use any lawn and garden battery 12v … the same as most lawn tractors use. As far as wiring Wright has free downloadable manuals online as well as Kawasaki …. If your connector is different you will just need to match up the wires and splice in your your old connector. It’s pretty basic wiring .
Great buy, a person doesn't run across deals like that very often. The expression on your face when it stayed running you were very happy.
That’s the chit eating grin people say I get….
