Dude this is so cool!!!!! This falls so well in line with George Lucas’ idea of the Jedi and Sith as ronin and samurai (robes [Kenobi] v lacquered armor [Vader]) and I love the way you used a pipe for the handled. Really creative and awesome piece!!!

I would like to recommend the Yamato from Devil May Cry 5 or any of the swords from the Ninja Gaiden game series such as the True Dragon Sword or The Blade of the Archfiend( this last one being more of a Tachi than a katana).

I could be seeing things, but it looks like this katana curves more than a lot of them that you’ve made. Could that be why it seems to cut better?
I believe that is a big part of it. I have been trying to make more traditional style Katanas, with deeper curves and a thinner tip.
