Right, like her insecurities are just that, insecurity. But in reality not many people would be disappointed in how she looks. Sure it would be hard to find someone that treats her like a normal person, not glorifying her, but not that hard. Invisigal has a tough personality, rough childhood, and it takes a strong & highly empathic person to handle her struggles. Far fewer people would be a match for her. I’ve always been one to go for the underdog 🤷♀️.

People don't notice this but on rewatch of another playthrough, when you tell the team in episode 3 to meet in the conference room after a bad dispatch shift... beef starts sniffing around while chase is holding him, chase notices him and kinda brushes it off. It isnt until this episode that you can start connecting that beef sniffing and sneezing like that should be a tell that visi is standing around. You may not notice is in the conference room meeting because robert is giving a speech as he does it behind robert. Veryyyyy slight nuance and smart move by the writers 👏
Berleezy got the best understanding of how to dispatch the Zeros out of any of the creators I’ve watched play these 4 episodes. Really enjoying his playthrough this game is tough

Honestly, Berlin made the right choice choosing Blonde Blazer. When you think about it, she seems like the most obvious choice. You had a better start to your relationship, you both have good chemistry with each other that wouldn't weird out anyone standing nearby, and you've known her longer. (Sure it's only by like half a day but the point still stands)
Also I feel like the developers knew this too because if you pick Invisigal, you don't see Blonde Blazer looking bummed out about you not going with her. It's just that a lot more exposure for invisigal was in the ch. 3-4, whereas more for blonde blazer was in ch. 1-2 which was a week ago. So, it is very much more of a recency bias to think blonde blazer is not a good fit, their chemistry in 1-2 (and in 3-4) is also very strong. On top of that, the comics reveal that blonde blazer broke up bc phenomaman wanted to keep being a superhero for the rest of his life and only saw blonde blazer, and not mandy. That's why she broke up with him, not bc she's trying to manipulate robert

Plus if you look at the comic extra that covers her breakup with phenomaman, you'd understand that she wasnt really happy where the relationship was going, she wanted to eventually settle down at some point, spend her time with a loved one, phenomaman wasn't on that train at all since he's an alien and doesnt have that kind of concept, his concept for relationships is really foreign and he was in for the heroics part, she clearly wasnt happy. This play through is one of the very few cases that I've seen picking or even just showing the Blonde Blazer date, and that's pretty nice to see. Players are kind of left in the dark on her breakup with Phenomeman while the Deluxe edition comic of this week goes into her troubles of him not really seeing her as the person or who she really is, or even try to understand her feelings and wants, with him only wanting her 'super hero persona' and seeing her as only that, in a pedestal. Even though I am with team Invisigal most of the time, I still respect the other perspective. If the end of Episode 3 had no right answer, these two at the end of episode 4 have no wrong answer. Blonde Blazer is not some super secret villain with dastardly intentions of manipulating everyone, she's just a sort of awkward gal who is professional a lot of the time because she has to maintain her hero persona. But she wants to be normal and have other people see the "real" her instead of her being a hero, and her breakup with Phenomeman was a long time coming that didn't just happen because she met Robert, it was something that was already on her mind for a very, very long time. Though people just assume that she is evil and manipulative because they do not know her backstory, which is only seen in the digital comic. Also, it's nice to see that Phenomeman is not the supposed "evil viltrumite" that everyone thought he would be. In reality, he is just an alien that doesn't really understand humans, so he is very awkward and perplexing. Dude is a pretty good guy once you get to know him. And also pretty funny in a way, cause he just straight up kisses you if you confess to kissing BB, and hugs you in the showers while you are naked lmao.

Honestly, Berlin made the right choice choosing Blonde Blazer.
When you think about it, she seems like the most obvious choice. You had a better start to your relationship, you both have good chemistry with each other that wouldn't weird out anyone standing nearby, and you've known her longer. (Sure it's only by like half a day but the point still stands)
Also I feel like the developers knew this too because if you pick Invisigal, you don't see Blonde Blazer looking bummed out about you not going with her. They really try to make you feel bad for not choosing Invisigal while I don't really feel those repercussions with Blonde Blazer.

Hey Berleezy, people keep saying "snowbunny mind control" but both of the romance options are very solid. It's just that a lot more exposure for invisigal was in the ch. 3-4, whereas more for blonde blazer was in ch. 1-2 which was a week ago. So, it is very much more of a recency bias to think blonde blazer is not a good fit, their chemistry in 1-2 (and in 3-4) is also very strong. On top of that, the comics reveal that blonde blazer broke up bc phenomaman wanted to keep being a superhero for the rest of his life and only saw blonde blazer, and not mandy. That's why she broke up with him, not bc she's trying to manipulate robert

A lot of folks are complaining but Invisigals got with her character traits (a tsundere which is an archetype im tired of), she isn't ready for a relationship, she stalked Robert and even punched the guy when he was giving her feedback with the donut incident . She lacks maturity in some areas and it isn't Roberts job to fix that's some growth that's going to take some self reflection. Their relationship is more healthier as Mentor and Mentee rather than something romantic imo

imo, Robert and Invisigal are both more right for each other. they share a lot of similarities, the biggest one being that they both dont allow anything to stop what they want to do. There arent any similarities between Blonde Blazer and Robert at all besides the fact that theyre heroes. We basically know nothing about her as a character

Invisigal can be classified as "tsundere", but clearly she's the type that undergoes a character arc where she learns to become less guarded with the people she cares about-- instead of being the more slapstick-y kind of "tsundere" that constantly catches herself lacking and overcorrects with comic violence and post-hoc aloofness. I don't know why anybody would particularly dislike the former, especially when there's much more of the latter.
But you know what, I kind of dig this discourse-- reminds me of the shipping wars of the aughts. People get too heated about this, but there's a passion that's able to be appreciated, and I don't have to endure the overt moral sanctimony that got imported into this stuff probably a decade ago.

Plus if you look at the comic extra that covers her breakup with phenomaman, you'd understand that she wasnt really happy where the relationship was going, she wanted to eventually settle down at some point, spend her time with a loved one, phenomaman wasn't on that train at all since he's an alien and doesnt have that kind of concept, his concept for relationships is really foreign and he was in for the heroics part, she clearly wasnt happy. This play through is one of the very few cases that I've seen picking or even just showing the Blonde Blazer date, and that's pretty nice to see.
Players are kind of left in the dark on her breakup with Phenomeman while the Deluxe edition comic of this week goes into her troubles of him not really seeing her as the person or who she really is, or even try to understand her feelings and wants, with him only wanting her 'super hero persona' and seeing her as only that, in a pedestal.
Even though I am with team Invisigal most of the time, I still respect the other perspective. If the end of Episode 3 had no right answer, these two at the end of episode 4 have no wrong answer.
Blonde Blazer is not some super secret villain with dastardly intentions of manipulating everyone, she's just a sort of awkward gal who is professional a lot of the time because she has to maintain her hero persona. But she wants to be normal and have other people see the "real" her instead of her being a hero, and her breakup with Phenomeman was a long time coming that didn't just happen because she met Robert, it was something that was already on her mind for a very, very long time.
Though people just assume that she is evil and manipulative because they do not know her backstory, which is only seen in the digital comic.
Also, it's nice to see that Phenomeman is not the supposed "evil viltrumite" that everyone thought he would be. In reality, he is just an alien that doesn't really understand humans, so he is very awkward and perplexing. Dude is a pretty good guy once you get to know him. And also pretty funny in a way, cause he just straight up kisses you if you confess to kissing BB, and hugs you in the showers while you are naked lmao.
