I haven't even played this game, but I like the little details that go into this fight. Particularly the subtle shaking of the player character's hands, and the short, panicked intakes of breath during pauses in the music. It really sells the fear of the scene, and in turn makes you, the player, become more apprehensive

But now my favorite boss in the game though

The lines the old man spews when he puts the mask on kill me haha. Dramatic pause, puts mask on “IM SKINNING YOU TODAY.” My favorite is easily the prospector. “HEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAW!” “THARS GOLD IN THEM CARDS”. Then the angler is just like “go fish”.

I just beat this boss today, O really struggled the first time, but absolutely wiped the floor with him and the leshy fight.
I had a custom card called "power" which was 2 bones, 3 power (boosted to 4 by a fire, attack left and right, and stench
As well as the tentacle monster that was 1 blood, did damage based on cards in hand, and had the Mantis God effect of attack forward left and right
I also took the eye of magpie because it was broken as hell

I swear I cannot beat this guy. Every time I get to him I get one shotted in the second phase.

the pelts are the key to winning the second phase, if you have more, you can take his special cards :)

2 tips that might help:
1-Try to have a lot of pelts
2- Choose the right cards to take from him. That doesn't mean the strongest, for example: 2:51 here, if this guy took the elk, he would instantly win, because the Kok + Gug damage would be 6. The elk is a pretty bad card, but taking it would make him win.

Too soon, too early because The game needs you to die, to learn some mechanics and all of that
There's some ways to kill that bears or win but is not supposed to happen :P

don't put all your eggs into one basket, look into sigils like unkillable or ant spawner to sacrifice the traps

This fight was so easy. I made this card after dying that had triple shot and 5 power. So when I had to choose the cards I just took away one and continued placed my guy down and won. The first part was so easy too.
