The story is that when she was 19, she met the father of her baby/fetus, a young man with piercing blue eyes, and fell hard for him, but he fell for another woman. That’s when she discovered her “gift” for feeling others’ sadness and went on to join a convent and become a nun. Either she didn’t realize she was pregnant, or she did and had a normal miscarriage instead of one where the uterus retains the unborn baby/fetus. She went on to lead a normal life as a nun, until her symptoms began in menopause. Nothing scandalous happened. No immaculate conception either. Besides, it’s only a fictional show, made for entertainment.
I would like to argue that stone babies are real, but rare, because of the availability of modern medicine. the story itself is entertaining and interesting
There’s a real life case of this I remember watching a documentary of, and it was a woman who basically had a stone baby for like 30 years? Or something
I haven't seen the full episode, but something seems off when the nun tells the doctors that she's ready for the surgery. She seems strangely overjoyed and has tears in her eyes.
@@artchic528 I think it was because she had finally let go of the guy she fell in love with all those years ago and that by removing the fetus, she was able to finally realize she had let go of that pain.
Just because a person smiles doesn't mean they're overjoyed. She lost her child. She could be in disbelief or even want to put on a brave face. You don't know what your response is going to be until it happens to you.
Nuns are raped all of the time. Clergymen are the guilty parties. Put the blame where it belongs, not with the women carrying the fetuses of the crime.

Thank you for the concise response, because people have a tendency to let their imaginations run _so wildly_ over pure fiction
Simple…she became pregnant before she became a nun….give her a break it’s a show 😂
😂😂😂
Löl
Was thinking the same thing, especially when he mentioned it can go asymptomatic for a lifetime.
Loved this storyline. Hope they bring the nun back.
I've heard of stone babies,fascinating
Didn’t the male doctor play Roman in the series Blindspot’??
Yes, and Lincoln in Agents of Shield.
Was just about to write that, he was so good in that show!
His name is Luke Mitchel he is Australian

Part of me thinks she wants to at least hold or see her baby at least once, and/or get the pain over with. But I’m leaning toward the former.
I saw the episode. Her strange joy over having the fetus/baby removed as soon as possible was never really addressed.

I miss will, nat, choi and the others
How many of the original cast are still on the show?
Maggie, dr Charles and ms goodwin
@@Rae-Annechu Wowww! It's like a completely different show now. When 70% of the original actors leave, I think it's time to conclude the series.
@@lisarm100 also nurse Doris as well
@lisarm100 it reminds me of Grey's anatomy

We can remove the stone baby, but say goodbye to your uterus and ovaries. You don't need them anymore. That's what doctors tell women all the time.
She is a nun going through a menopause. I doubt she will be upset with her lack of ovaries or uterus
guilty

Of what ????
