With only a bag and your spell-book, you leave everything behind and venture out into this magical world, far beyond the once so safe walls of your village. On your adventure you cross scorching deserts, rocky mountains and rivers full of exciting creatures. As you reach the legendary ruins your master told you about, you decide to venture inside to hopefully find salvation. However, all you find is an empty hall with statues. Angry and desperate you throw your book to the ground, which triggers an explosion as it gets in contact with the magical walls of the ruin. You start to fade and the last thing you remember is darkness. You don`t know how much time passed, but after a while you wake up in a forest, filled with ruins and statues of giants. Your senses notice the ridiculous amount of magical power sparking through the air. You get back up from the ground, out on your head and take your book. Plot hole: No one ever got powerful hiding behind walls. How did this sorcerer become so powerful just chilling at home? And most masters of an art would likely send their apprentice out more often to practice the art and gain experience. This main character is doomed, and his teacher has failed him. I think this struggle will make a better tale even tho it ends in failure. It's an older style of story such as the darker fairy tales which have more reality than hopium.
Helping me write my first assignment for this term. Finishing out my environmental science degree. It's been a stressful journey, but moments like this remind me that I can do it and its all worth it. I finally figured out what it is that makes me feel young, I'm the eldest daughter of 3, I'm 26 and they're 16 and 8 so you can imagine how tired I am haha... But this reminds me of being 8 years old playing games in my hotel room while my stepdad was out doing whatever and my mom was either asleep or working... I feel like a little kid playing happily blissfully by herself. I feel happy...
