Wow my dad went back home in 2019. In the days leading up to his passing, I would play miqedem for him every day. On thee day while family surrounded him i lay there in his ear singing this song to him. Although the machines were keeping him alive, his soul went back home. The music is in the blood as most my uncles were musicians at one time and still are thank you Grandpa. Growing up I remember my dad sharing so much music. This was very significant for me. I miss him everyday. Miqedem has definitely gotten me through tough times. Prais God the Father. Hallelujah. 🙏🙏🙏
I 5yrs ago when my mum was undergoing cancer treatment, I can't sufficiently express how much this songs helped me through the difficult times...it's just amazing how much power there is in worshipping the Lord !

You know the difference between Hebraic worship and western worship? The emphasis is on God in the first case while the latter is about the listener and how they feel. We laugh at some of the church music that speaks of God chasing after people, do they not remember He can command the stones and they would worship Yeshua. This is pure and centered correctly on the Holy One of Israel.
While I agree much western worship is listener centered you may want to be careful with broad statements like this because it is too generalized and as such untrue in its very nature. It also has the danger of sounding proud and judgemental. That being said do not take offense by my censure. It is being provided in all humility and compassion and care. I am guilty of saying things that may be in a sense true in its essence but ungodly at the same time if that makes sense.
I'm so glad God knows every ♥. I'm also glad that He is full of compassion and mercy. He alone is worthy of praise, yet He still loves and encourages US. He's amazing! I LOVE that He has gifted these musicians and that they glorify God by putting scripture to music. I'm learning Hebrew too! Wish I had when I was young, but I'm so grateful to enjoy it with the help of Miqedem. 🙏🤗

Some western and also some Hebrew music are more like testimonies of what the Lord has done and is able to do because it is not easy to keep quiet when your heart is overwhelmed and full of HIS love poured into it …and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So in one way it’s about self but in form of testimonies wich is beautiful because it shows a lively relationship between his chosen ones our God. And then there is the wonderful and absolute pure worship where it is all about HIM both of them are beautiful and are important. All Glory to God!!!
