Why would someone pay for setting up SMTP which can be setup for free using other plugins without any limitations on No of emails. And here Elemenor is only sending 200 emails per month (free) which is way too less.
You say about adding a custom domain and I thought that was a "must do" but, actually, thinking about it and testing it I'm not so sure. If you're just using it for form content delivery then creating the "noreply@...." might just be good enough - it doesn't matter that the sending domain is different ot the website domain as all the right permissions are set in the SPF records anyway.

Agreed. 200 may be enough for many.
