Hello everyone! Make sure to check out the links in my description for my company Dada, TESOL course and a Facebook group for online ESL teachers 😊. And if you have further questions don’t hesitate to ask me!! 😄
Thank you for keeping it real and for allowing us into your world, without the fake bells and whistles. I really enjoyed your video. Is online teaching financially rewarding to travel around the world? You've got yourself a new subscriber from Cape Town, South Africa.❤
This is great! I'm an online teacher as well, and my family and I are hoping to start traveling more and bringing our work with us. This is inspiring, thanks for sharing! I'm your newest subscriber :)
Hello Caity! Nice to meet another fellow teacher 👋🏼 Yes, it’s awesome how flexible this job can be. Where would you like to travel to? 😊 Also, thanks for watching and subscribing 😆
This is so helpful. I've shared a few of your online teaching videos with a couple of friends now looking to do the same thing. Thanks for making them! ☺️ Keep up the great work 👍🙂🙌
Hello, Lana Tiare This is very awesome video of online english teaching. I'm from Indonesia, because of the pandemic, I started to teach my students English online. Hopefully, you can make a vlog during your teaching online to the children and teens so I can learn more how to teach English like natives do.. ☺👍
Great video ! I was looking for good video on teaching, " while traveling." I'm sure you have to be more resourceful and creative when you travel to new places and teaching environments. Thank you !
Anthony R. Pompa Thank you! Yes, you certainly do. Each Airbnb is different and I can’t travel with too many props, but yah make do 😄. Are you teaching English online too?
Ahh just subscribed!! :) This is so interesting! The hours you work are so different. I also love that view, oh my goodness!! Looking forward to keeping up with your journey :)
Rin Morales Hello! Sorry for the super late reply I’ve only just seen this now. Yay! So happy to hear that. I hope the training went well. We love The Philippines 🇵🇭❤️. Take care ☺️.
It’s hard to get bookings for new teachers from what I’ve heard. Since Covid many people have been applying for online English teaching jobs. So if you were to apply I’d recommend working for two companies to increase your chances of getting bookings 😊
It's just an advice but do not keep your laptop on the bed as the heat from the laptop does not get space to escape I would recommend to keep the laptop on a desk or a wooden board will work just as well
Hi there! I haven’t taught by the traditional method so I can’t give you an opinion on that. But teaching English online has allowed me to travel for the past 3 years with a lot of freedom. So I can highly recommend it if you are looking for flexibility 😊
Good stuff! It did not seem like there was any lesson plan in particular and it also seems like the students must understand a certain amount of English already. For example you asked a student if he likes spicy food so he must already know those words? I’m curious how you get paid do you have to have a PayPal or can you use the bank from your home country or how does that work? You’re living your dream! 👏👏👏
Hey there! Yes there is no lesson planning so it’s perfect. And some of my students are a little older about (7-10) so their English is more improved and they are able to hold a small conversation with occasional translations. I get paid in USD via a direct bank transfer, you can also use transferwise or PayPal. Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any other questions 😊
@@LanaTiare Hi, Lana. Im planning to be the one. But, I m an Esl teacher, in Training Centre ,in China. Really wanna go back home ,and start my own business, since Chinese company hasn't been paying my full salary from February up to now. I really want to start teaching online. I need to invest in myself, in my own business, not to someone's. Maybe i need to star with one of those companies like yours DADA, VIP ,just to see if I can teach online. P.S. SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL. GREAT VIDEOS
Hi Mark, that sounds like a great plan! Definitely would be nicer to run your own business. Great idea to see how you would like it first. Dada has seen some changes in management lately but I have stayed with them. Although many employees have found problems with Dada I’ve enjoyed working with them. I’ve heard that VIP kids is a good company to work for and pays decent. Wishing you all the best, feel free to ask me any questions about online teaching if you need. Thanks for subscribing 😊🙏!
@@LanaTiare Thanks for encouragement. Appreciate for the help you offered, i might need some advice in the future. And of course, I enjoy watching your videos, so i subscribed. I wish you all the best
Interesting to see this. We were looking into the possibility of teaching online like this, but we were not sure about it as we saw some reviews of similar companies that said they were either hard to get into or not very supportive if you have problems. Is your experience been good? Have you provided your own materials? I was wondering about how much you carry around with you?
I highly recommend English teaching for travelling. Really depends on your working requirements. I’ve not experienced any problems. When I first applied, I went for many different companies and I got 2 job offers. Dada paid better out of the two so it was an obvious choice for me. I carry everything shown in the video. Just a headset, small LED light, small teddy bear, paper cut outs and my laptop. So not that much at all 😊 And as for problems I always email Dada. They respond within a few days. You’re allowed sick leave with a medical certificate. And you can apply for leave at least 24 hours in a advance (I’m allowed 4 requested days off a month, unpaid).
@@LanaTiare That's all good to hear! I don't know yet if I'll pursue it, but it also seems a good way to make some money on the side no matter where you are.

I would usually say the student is easily distracted and is not paying attention during the lesson. Or something along these lines. None of my students send there homework back so I’m never sure if they completed it. And yes I always give feedback 🙂

Hello thank you so much for this informative video. What tefl or tesol certification did you earn to be able to get hired with Dada?
Hello,
I got a TESOL certification. It should be listed in my description below if you would like to see.
Thanks for watching 😊

Thank you!
How would you give feedback to students who don't pay much attention, not completing homework. Do you usually give feedback for every lesson?
I would usually say the student is easily distracted and is not paying attention during the lesson. Or something along these lines. None of my students send there homework back so I’m never sure if they completed it. And yes I always give feedback 🙂
What degree do you need to do this?
Any degree, you just need a degree 😄 *Some companies hire without one. Hope this answers your question.
Can you be an online teacher with just a bachelor’s?
Mother Geminii You need a bachelors degree and a TEFL/TESOL certification. 🙂
Feedback is a Dada pain.
It is, but I guess it’s part of the job. I made a template so it takes less time 😄.
A little pig?
