So, about the old man with the guitar. I read somewhere how that specific model of guitar was first sold on Japan in the 60s or 70s. That plus his many piercings seems to indicate that Gakuganji (I think it's his name) was a punk in his youth, with little to no regards to what the conservatives used to think about the "proper way" of dressing (and by extension, of jujutsu/living). But in his old age, we see him being now one of the conservatives in jujutsu Society, denying the young their own way and forcing their ideals on everyone, and his buttheading with Gojo shows us that. He still uses his piercings probably cause he thinks it's cool, but in reality it only serves to show how he became a hypocrite, throwing away his ideals for power in jujutsu Society. (and he's apparently looking for a drummer too) PS: I had kinda forgotten how awesome s1 is, can't wait to see your mind melt at the first 5 eps in s2.

My guess it's how he views Japan's cultura itself, last I read the younget generation are getting really tired of feeling like they have no power to change things, with they fate always being chosen by those older than themselfs.

Haven’t read the manga but I heard that it was instantaneous. One panel he shoots the technique and in the next it had passsd through the whole forest. The anime made it more dramatic though and we have no complaints. This was one of the best episodes of Season 1. Can’t wait for Season 2 though. S1 felt more of a setup season and kinda good at best, but S2 is a real ride. So amazing! Keep up the good work!
