Thank you for that its helped me figure out how i could find a few well paying jobs so i dont need to stress about leaving school without an idea and also going to college. ❤️
Great video! I've recently graduated and this video came at a perfect time, I'm surprised you guys haven't blown up already. Also, will you guys ever do a video about building those passive income sources, I've always been keen on starting my own (yt/side hustle) but not quite sure where to start. But non the less you guys make incredibly useful content👍.
Hey, Majella here!! Thanks so much for your comment, we really appreciate it!! I'm so happy you liked the video. Yay, ok awesome, I was planning on doing a video like that really soon so keep an eye out :) Let me know if there's anything else you would like to see a video on - we're always open to suggestions. Ps. Congrats on graduating!!!! :)
Great video, thanks. Could you give more ideas on passive income streams. Are you saying that if you consistently upload to a blog or a yt channel it’ll just start paying? I’d be willing to put in the effort, but maybe there are other passive income avenues that just require the effort and not the ‘luck’ so-to-speak. Thanks
you have a really soothing voice haha - do you have any more information about Airtasker? I was thinking of doing it on the weekends while I pursue passion projects during the week. Peace from melbourne!! :)
haha why thank you!! Airtasker is super simple to download and to use!! One tip, is when you are "bidding" for a job, you have the opportunity to quote how much you will charge. I always take the figure the job has asked for and then add the amount that airtasker will take. I then write in the bid something like: "Hi, I'm super happy to do this at x time/date, I have x experience, I have adjusted the price to include the airtasker fee". Airtasker is really great bc you can literally do it whenever you have spare time. Weekends would be a perfect time to do it! Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Thanks for the video Didn’t you need to take some qualifications for working as a childcare worker? I would also like to work as a childcare worker and I have also experiences in my country. But when I apply some job though they didn’t reply. How did you get that job?
Hello & welcome!! How exciting :) You can have look on University facebook groups for rooms & jobs. You can also sign up to societies at uni to meet new people too. You can also ask your university's career office to help you look for a job :)
Omg I know, I was literally a crazy person!! I could've definitely been working smarter not harder & spent my time building up income streams that paid me for my efforts rather than my time! Ps. I have a new video on the best / worst side hustles as a student if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/1Hyv33Vd9i4/видео.html
Hi thanks a lot for your good information. I'm going to immigrate to Australia, babysitting and other jobs related to human, do these jobs need special certifications?
Hi!! Thanks so much for the comment. Oh how exciting!! Firstly, once you're in Australia, if you need help getting into a degree - we can offer FREE assistance here: www.yourcompass.com.au/international-students-idp. In terms of Babysitting / childcare qualifications - if you do childcare through a centre - some centres will require a TAFE qualification / a degree. Some will allow you to start working whilst studying. We can help you get a qualification at the link I just provided. For private babysitting, it will depend on the family. Some family's don't need any requirements, they will normally just meet you in person first and decide if you're the right fit. But most families prefer that you have a police check, Working with Childrens check and first aid. A working with childrens check is probably the bare minimum that you should have. First Aid is more desirable and will mean you can charge a little more. If you go through a website like www.findababysitter.com (i used this ALOT) then you can list your qualifications. I should add, any experience with child care will be looked upon more favourably - so if you have younger siblings, cousins or any other childcare experience.
I don’t know if you can help me but I was wondering I’m 16 going to school my goal it to go to uni but I want a well paying part time job like $30-$40 a hour after I’m like 18 or like 19 while I’m a uni do you have any ideas or ways I can work up to that type of pay like jobs I can get into or reach
I'm so glad you asked because I can definitely help you! Both Connor and I actually meet while working for a uni and it was the best! Not only was the work really fun and varied but when we started, the pay was around $35 per hour and by the time we stopped working for the uni our casual contracts were earning us more than $42 per hour! The only certification we needed was a Working With Children Check and because the work was at the same place as where we studied, we didn't have to travel around a lot! 😁
@@quickscoper3019 I'm from victoria, so to become a lifeguard i needed to get a lifeguard certificate from ' life saving victoria', get a first aid certificate , and get a working with children check. Then just go on job websites and look for pool lifeguard jobs nearby (plenty are advertised just before and during summer). I know plenty of 16-year-olds earning major $$$ over the holidays as lifeguards, and also if you lifeguard for multiple years then by the time you're 19 you can apply for duty manager positions while you're at uni, they earn close to $50 per hour at my pool.
I know, so sorry! 🫣 I had actually setup my yeti microphone for this video but forgot to start the recording so I was forced to use the audio recorded through the camera’s mic 🤢
Thanks!! You can find these jobs online (places like seek / fb groups) or via your careers office at school/uni. Uni's also often have an online job board where they post available jobs too. Goodluck!!! :)
I believe so! You might want to look at the tax requirements in your country etc. If you need help getting into Uni / TAFE we can offer FREE assistance for international students who are in Australia here: www.yourcompass.com.au/international-students-idp

For the support work jobs do we need to complete any kind of a qualification?
Hey, would you be interested in partnering up with us, for getting students admission in Australian colleges and Unis?
I've personally worked all of these jobs myself! But if you know of any other options that pay well for students - let me know below!
How can i reach you sir

What about child care? Do you mean babysitting, or you can work in "professional places" as a student/no degree?
You will never achieve financial freedom by working for someone else.
Thanks for sharing, Dave! 😁
