Hi Dr Ali, my friend anatomy scan report says her baby has a single echogenic intracardiac focus (EIF) in the left ventricle. And her Gyno suggested to do Non Invasive Prenatal test- NIPT- to check if the baby has any Down syndrome. During her NT scan and Double Marker report everything was normal and low risk of any Down Syndrome. No family history of Down syndrome. This is her first pregnancy. Should she need take the NIPT test? Thanks 😊
