I would recommend fan videos of their concerts, better yet, if SB19 would have another world tour, invite them to watch live! Just like what most of the foreign video reactors did! I watched their reaction two weeks ago to Katrina Velarde’s Hindi Tayo Pwede -uploaded in the Wish Bus two years ago… They think that the Wish Bus and the First Take do a little touching up…still grateful for taking their time to watch Filipino artists and share their reaction! A’tin here….

I have never heard anyone say that the wish bus performances are edited. As far as I know they deliver raw vocals here.
SB19 are known as “Vocal Monsters”. They hardly ever made mistakes so I don’t believe that would need editing. They are ready for live performances of any their songs .

Omg! It’s interesting how you say they have fairly similar voices when their voices are very distinct from each other. Maybe because that’s a really old video and their voices have changed since then. The guy in the middle, Stell, is a countertenor who recently performed All By Myself with David Foster. Ken, the second one from the left who sang first is a bass, his voice can sound like it’s coming straight out of a cave. Pablo, the one on the right wearing orange, has a distinctive rasp in his voice. Please react to Mapa and Gento on First Take, it’s a Japanese channel. It’s a one take setup with very sensitive mics. I think the video they used has music removed. That is what's giving the "robotic" or edited sound to their voices. I dont know how they pick SB19 videos but this is the second time that their choice of song to react to is kinda weird, why this and the Rappler Ilaw out of the so many videos???
@@cardepunz1914 truee. The sound for the SB19 vid is different from the original wish bus video. The music here seems to be lower volume and the vocals have that robotic-ish sound.

I recommend SB19 songs on the TAKE ONE. They were invited to perform on this platform by Japan . Here you will hear their raw vocal talents and every little sound of their voice as the mikes are very sensitive and it is only done one take no repeat so if there were mistakes it won’t slllw them to repeat to efit them. The musical instruments are stripped down compstedcuo the original track.
Howrvrr, I am proud to say they nailed the 2 songs either their perfect harmonies and beautiful voice layering with low and high notes .
I don't think this is the original WISHBUS performance in terms of the audio. This seemed edited.......edited poorly😑
You picked their debut song to react to hahaha. Literally their first song ever. They were just starting in this video. I recommend you do Mapa (Wish Bus or The First Take version are both good). And since you mentioned boybands of the 90s, I Want You is a good pick. It is an all English song with an R&B feel. Gento is their most popular. My favorite song of theirs aside from those already mentioned is ILAW (an emotional song about mental health). I'm surprised you said they sound similar because for me they each have distinct voices. This version of Tilaluha don't really showcase the diversity in their vocal tone and style. There's a lot of male artists from the Philippines. BuDaKhel (Bugoy Drilon, Daryl Ong and Michael Pangilinan) are three solo artists that regularly collab with each other. They have featured Katrina Velarde in a few covers namely Thank God I Found You, One Sweet Day and I'm Your Angel. You can start with those 3 first. Will recommend more later. They did a stint on The First Take where artists sing without backing track and they only get one chance to sing the song without mistakes. They air it as is. No polishing, no editing. wish bus does not pre-record. processed yes but not pre-recorded. the guy in black/gray (ken) did the first verse. the guy in blue (josh) is the second verse. this is their debut single. they've astoundingly improved through the years. you should review the song they did in the first take japan.

This is one of their first songs when they just came out under a Korean management 6 years ago. Once they started getting more creative freedom, they were able to showcase their individuality. Now that they are self-managed, the sky's the limit to their creativity & versatility. Check out their latest EP Pagtatag and their most recent releases, you will definitely hear each member's voice strongly and distinctly. One thing that sets them apart is how they don't conform to expectations and just keep raising the bar. ☺️

You can also check on Stells (SB19) rendition of the song "Sometimes, Somewhere" on Ryan Cayabyab GenC concert as well as his rendition of the song "All By Myself" on David Foster concert in Manila. Each member (SB19) has a solo career but prioritizes their group where they all started. They already have released their original songs and do some concerts individually.
This reactors always get the wrong videos to watch.
They used to watch the Ilaw with the loud back-up then now the Wish Bus with editing when the boys just had their “First Take” performance.
Also, they could just get “The Night of Wonders” with Disney with Stell since that’s their type of music.
I suggest you explore more about these "boys." They are more than just a boy band, they are passionate artists and you can see this in their songs as a group and individually.
Another awesome live performance is the one at AAA 2023 and try the broadcast version. That's live singing with dancing.

The reaction was more about the ‘enhancements’ and about other boy bands that you watched in your younger days. Barely any attention was given to SB19’s vocal abilities or voice qualities. Expected more from a vocal coach.
