Greeks (Alexander the Great), Armenians (Armenian Kingdom), Assyrians/Levantine Arabs (Assyrian Empire, Phoenicians etc.) Kurds/Persians (Median Empire, Persian Empire, Sassanid Empire etc.) All these people already had their traditional dishes such as Lahmacun which is called „turkish“ pizza while the Assyrians had a recipe for it 2000 years ago & even the name is semetic not Turkic. Also my favorite example: Pickles (Turşu) which is iranic (kurdish/persian) which comes from the name sour - tirş/turş (in Kurdish/Farsi).
