    Two things I love. PWG previews and these mini docs. Very well done.

    Makes me cringe reading these comments. I'm going to go on a quick rant, I hope you enjoy.
    When I started watching wrestling I was 7 years old, it was 1996 and Bret Hart was champion. Bret Hart is known as one of the great wrestler-wrestlers. As a little kid, I remember thinking 'yeah, Bret Hart, I'd love to wrestle him someday in a fierce competitive technical battle'. Then, I saw Ahmed Johnson and Vader, and thought 'these guys are monsters that would fucking kill me'. 'I want no part of wrestling them, but I love to watch them wreck shit'.
    Not to discredit Bret Hart, but it does speak to the whole stature complex in the wrestling business. As a 7 year old kid, I was confident, no doubt in my mind, that as a little guy I could hang with Bret Hart. 'No problem', I thought.
    Ever since Chris Hero has gained a bit of weight, he has been on fire. As he says in this video, the past few years he has reached a-whole-nother level. His weight gain totally correlates with him becoming a monster in the ring and settling into his own. Kicks, chops, elbows, and piledrivers have become more vicious looking than ever.
    No, I did not grow up to be a wrestler, but in 2011 I thought, 'yeah whatever Chris Hero is a good technical wrestler'. 'He is kinda like Bret Hart'.
    By 2014, I can assure you Chris Hero ain't nothing to fuck with.
    By 2016, Chris Hero, is a god damn freak of nature, and I am utterly terrified of him. I'm even scared to go get his autograph again because now he looks like he'll piledrive anyone at any time. He looks like he'll elbow your head off your shoulders at a moments notice.
    You people can say all you want about his weight gain, but give the man his fucking props. He has become such a special attraction for all of wrestling. He will forever be the most underrated wrestler because as much as you can put him over, it is never enough.
    So if you have nothing nice to say about Chris Hero, hit the fucking bricks. If you wanna talk about his weight gain, then fine but also talk about how much of a fucking monster he is, and how you're actually terrified of him because you know he would dog fuck you in the street.

    Went to middle school with Chris. Never knew he had an intrest in wrestling. He used to love reenacting Saturday night live skits though. Particularly the one with Chris Farley talking about living in a van down by the river.

    Stop knocking Chris Hero for his size. Wrestling needs variety and he stands out as a dominant big man by indy standards. He is awesome and I agree with the prior poster that he's much more "intimidating" in this state. This man has mad skills. I've followed him off and on since his early days. He has *incredible* star presence, especially when you see him live.
    Also, nice job on the producing of this piece! The promo itself is great and I like the B&W filter during the footage of Hero's dialog.

    to all the trolls on here calling hero fat and making fun of him for his weight gain are just being straight asses. people the man has a thyroid problem that makes it hard for him to look like fucking HHH or roman reigns and you people overlook the fact that hero can put on great matches despite the weight gain. and for those of you who say he wouldve been a big star in wwe if he had trained hero was one of the top talents in nxt and even when he was in shape he still looked big because of his problem he was suppose to be part of the shield but they put Vince's guy on it instead wwe would have just held him back he's made a much bigger name for himself and made a hell of a lot more money on the independent circuit than ever he got better after he left not worse and had he been able to stay in wwe Vince would've put meat heads with less talent over hero and we all know it

      +Hurricane HD TV Chris hero is one of my fav of all time in my top 5 actually that's why it's easy for me to not criticize him but getting on his case cause I want him to do good I want him to be in wwe and make millions and be a star and celebrity and not have to work 365 days a year in these shit for nothing indies and make next to nothing compared to the big guys in this business and not look absolutely fat and out of shape ya it's hard for him to not gain weight with a thyroid issue well it's hard not impossible because he's done it before and looked like a 5 star superstar I want hero to look good and do good and if people like you keep giving him excuses maybe just maybe he'll stay the way he is now and accomplish a lot shure compared to other indie stars but never reach the full potential he should

    • @PrinceDyspo
      @PrinceDyspo 8 лет назад

      gorditaopm I agree and I would like for him to be in wwe too and some indies are actually pretty good evolve and pwg are two of the best I've ever seen. And he's proven that even with the weight gain that he's still great. And wwe has a tendency to underutilized great talent that they don't create like hero and Sami calihan hell Cesar's should've been in the world title picture a long time ago. You can't tell me that hero wouldn't have been a better big man for the shield than boring ass roman reigns. And just because you're in wwe doesn't mean you're making a shitload of money cuz of rentals and hotels n shit only the really big names make millions hero was still in developmental you don't make millions there

    Could have had Romans position in Shield and been a huge star if you followed you're training schedule and not been lazy as fuck, still think your fucking amazing tho regardless of you needing to go to weight watchers.

      Wasn't that fat in wwe my friend, its just he was told to follow a training schedule which he didnt and was realised due to laziness, now hes really fat, still has amazing matches tho. Before you get pissy my point wasnt about what he can do in the ring its just that he could have been huge but he decided to waste this once in a lifetime opportunity.

    • @JDLegal7
      @JDLegal7 8 лет назад +1

      Not disputing bro, people are argue this shit with me for ages but the fact of the matter is he was realised because he didn't like working out, straight up. Higher ups felt that he could have been doing more.

      Chris Hero's thoughts on not getting called up: "I would say that the issue was less conditioning and more of an overall look. Anybody that has ever known me or been in the ring with me knows that I can wrestle all day and all night long. I don't get tired, that's not the issue. It's more of a cosmetic issue and my body type is different. I have different ways of working out and my eating habits are at the time. Anybody that has followed my career has seen a lot of fluctuation. I have gone from no muscle tone whatsoever to plumping up to three hundred pounds to cutting that off and becoming more toned and then cutting as much body fat as possible, so I have had my fluctuations" I dont get how its false if he said himself its a body issue? This is a great read by the way recommend it, courtesy of WrestlingINc.

      That was an epic comeback... I mean, wow... I need to reevaluate my life... thank you for showing me the error of my ways.
      You so deserve praise for your Tony Robins level of life changing motivation.
      Perhaps you can share that with Chris Hero, as I am sure you can track him down to the local Cheesecake Factory... I am sure you can help him, like you helped me.
