Glad to see frieren winning it by the end. I'm not much of a waifu guy myself but frieren really won my heart. After catching up with the lastest chapters of the manga. I can confirm she's one of the rare consistently great female characters in anime/manga. The author of frieren really knows how to write a good story with compelling characters even side characters in this series gets so much development and there own moments. If both El dorado and goddess monument arc gets animated in a 2nd season, It's easily going to be one of best anime seasons of all time because of how good and well written those arc's are
@@cedricmichaud552 The manga is currently on indefinite hiatus. Last time when it was in indefinite hiatus it returned with a anime adaptation announcement. So hopefully we'll get a season 2 announcement since the author was involved on the production of season 1 so it's not totally impossible but we can't be sure yet. The manga also takes smaller breaks very often but it just might be because writing a manga isn't easy specially a manga like frieren. It got a little bit of almost everything and balancing all those elements isn't easy but that's just my theory on this matter

Taiga was a very divisive character from the start. A lot of people hated her, because she is not actually a Tsundere, she is just Tsun-Tsun. She gives Tsundere a bad name. For me Toradora was just painful to watch, but im a bit biased since at that point I was in the period where I stopped consuming poorly made content. People who disliked or hated her already knew actual Tsunderes like Rin or Naru who are also peak Tsundere. And Kurumi is a great character on her own right, regardless of how good or bad Date a Live is. So if anything its surprising that Taiga still got 40% of the votes. (some part of chat must have no taste+ not know of Kurumi)
