I first heard of this brilliant man during the AIDS crisis. He was one of the VERY FEW who helped then, and today he has, unsurprisingly, been at the front of our COVID response. He has brought his decades of research to COVID, all while being insulted and threatened by the MAGA membership and leaders, many of whom had very little understanding of the scientific method. He should get a medal for that alone. We owe much to this remarkable man. Many, many thanks, Dr. Fauci.❤

But MAGA idiots, knowing full well that Donald Trump's response to covid was a spectacular failure, are nonetheless attempting to come to his rescue by pinning the blame on someone else. Trump did everything wrong during the pandemic: He dragged his feet, denied it, made fun of mask wearers (and didn't wear one himself) held rallies during and even removed the in-between empty seats for social distancing. Then, even the one thing that could have saved his reputation as a ding-a-ling: fast tracking the vaccine, fell apart immediately when he suggested his rally-goers get the shot and they booed causing him to instantly cave in and say, "If you want to". He couldn't even back up his own product (well, he had nothing whatsoever to do with the development of it, but you know what I mean).

I commend you for your choice to get vaccinated. Thank you for that. I just want to correct a notion that appears widespread. A vaccine does not prevent you from getting the virus, it lessens the effects of the virus. I've had it several times despite getting fully vaccinated.
I'm unvaccinated and guess what I haven't had covid once. I have family members that have had at least 4 jabs and they have had covid twice. My husband had to have the jab otherwise he would have lost his job. Second jab ended up going to hospital with heart attack like symptoms.
