Love your channel! A big gold round mirror and a side table would look great in the dining room. Also curtains would soften the space. Adding layers and texture to the space gives it depth. My hobby is design.

You should put a tall cabinet, buffet or shelving unit of some sort on that wall to display decorative items or dinnerware. Even a large mirror to make the space feel bigger and brighter would look nice. Placing a rug under the table will also make it feel more put together and cozy!

The lamp idea sounds good in theory but I think you would hit your head on it frequently when you set the table. If it’s hard to find art to match the other painting then I would move the other painting to another room. Just some thoughts!
I think the archive wardrobe was made more difficult by the lockdowns - seasons passed without us wearing items, so we couldn't impose the 6 month rule! Excited for your reno! x

If I recall correctly, she bought this house as a single person and it was a good size for just her. However, her partner has moved in and also requires some specific needs for what he does for a living (a studio) so an expansion was needed. I'm pretty sure the outcome was to expand the existing house instead of a new house when they moved in with one another for reasons including the volatility and inflation of the housing market :)
