Until 14th July 2024 SEBC candidates were unaware of the requirement of caste validity which was stated in the Cet Cell information brochure. The events occured are stated as follows - 1. First GR stated to get both cast certificate and NCL on the same page. 2. Second GR dated 28 June 2024 stated that caste certificate and NCL certificate needs to be on separate pages. 3. Third GR dated 5th July 2024 allowed caste and ncl certificate on either same page or separate pages. The above three GRs created a lot of confusion. We approached caste validity officials but they are still not accepting caste and NCL certificate on the same page.( Even though GR dated 5th July allowed) Further when we approach government offices for documents we are facing the following problems - 1. officials are not accepting the format of caste and ncl certificate on the same page. 2. Many officers are on strike thus we are unable to get documents on time 3. Officers are saying that it takes 3-4 months to get cast validity and it wont be available before cap round-3. 4. Officials are saying that the government website is down and not working due to heavy traffic caused due to various new government schemes. 5. Government is also not issuing EWS certificate to Maratha students. Thus it is completely unfair with SEBC candidates. We request you to - 1. Allow SEBC candidates to apply without cast validity OR 2.Instruct Samaj Kalyan offices to issue caste validity to all maratha students within the time frame alloted by cet cell.
