@starylovesyo After some research that may or may not be true I've come to the conclusion that he was originally named "betelgeuse" and the name "beetlejuice" is a play on that word to make people pronounce his name correctly. The film studio later begged Tim Burton to actually change his name but I haven't found any information if he actually changed it from "betelgeuse" to "beetlejuice". So let's just say that both are correct :D [I spent way too much time on this😭]
