SplashDown Beach Water Park in Fishkill NY - Summer 2021 Hudson Valley with Kids

Wanting to experience the best of Hudson Valley with Kids this Summer 2021 (which let's be honest is not 100% back to normal), I reached out to SplashDown Beach Water Park in Fishkill NY to get tickets in exchange for our coverage on YT (and our blog, where you can find more details on what to expect when spending the day at SplashDown Beach Waterpark: usjapanfam.com).
In a word, AMAZING. SO SO SO much fun!!! Those 48" can do all the rides, though 42" and above can do pretty much do everything, solo or with an adult. There are some HUGE and terrifying slides (like Humunga Halfpipe and Megalodon), some medium thrill ones (like Bullet Bowl and Arctic Plunge), and super chill safe for babies and babies at heart (like the lazy river, regular pool, and wave pool), and even some areas just for smaller kids.
I highly recommend splurging for a cabana (from $140/day). They have locker rentals (you get a wristband that opens it all day), changing rooms, bathrooms, lots of dining options inside and outside. We arrived at opening (11am) and stayed til closing (6pm) and honestly, still hadn't had enough LMAO!!! It is a SUPER FUN day out and I can't recommend it highly enough!!

HEALTH NOTE: As of June 15, 2021, NY has lifted all covid-related restrictions and mandates and SplashDown seems to have as well. They did not enforce masks (for guests or employees) and did not take temperatures. We wore masks in the bathrooms but no one else did. We didn't feel uncomfortable since it was mostly outside and all the water is chlorinated, we never felt overly crowded, and my husband and I are vaccinated. But it's worth taking note if you're extremely cautious about this stuff.
