First of all, amazing!!! Your works are just incredible. I want to ask (as I have heard about all the rules regarding flying a drone in the city of Sydney)... If I were to fly my drone there, would i get in trouble? I don't have a drone license and am just doing these videos for a hobby.
Mabel Polonsky thanks Mabel! It all depends where you want to fly. Sydney Harbour and surrounding areas are inside a restricted zone, meaning to be able to fly there you need a permit from CASA (and to get that you need to not only have a license, but also a ReOC). Check the maps, there are many other areas where you can lawfully fly (but still of course following standard condition).
@@FilippoRivetti Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! You've answered more than I could ask. Your videos are truly amazing! Thank you heaps Filippo
This is exceptional. I did I short timelapse from the harbor bridge on a recent trip from the US with my Nikon, but nothing close to this. Did you use stabilization software in addition to a motion kit? How much did AfterEffects factor into the actual sequences, transitions aside?
Hi,Your work is stunning and Really impressive. Your hardwork has definitely paid off. on a separate note, would i be able to use a piece of this footage for a video advert about Australia that i am working on. Your help on the matter would be appreciable. thank you.
+graham68ktm thanks! It is still one of my favourite sequences! It is actually a HDR hyperlapse seqeunce from day to night and it took me around 3 hours of shooting and many many more of editing :) (and yes, it's stabilized with AE warp stabilizer)
Stunning time lapse video! Why is called hyperlapse? When you were walking along Bondi Beach and on the ferry, how did you keep the camera steady when filming? Gimbal? Shot in raw?
Thanks. I still bit confused about the hyper lapse. Some scenes look like panning motion with panning tripod gear ( I got one I used).? In Bondi beach looks like you are walking along the beach and filming over a long distance , right? But you must keep the distance in a very straight line so not appear crooked. And how do you keep your camera steady on the ferry? Just handheld? Must be real steady hand. i must try do some of the scenes here using your way.
Thanks!!! I probably spent more hours than that on this project! Being a personal project without any time constraint I was going out only when the weather was perfect and it was shot during a 4 month period!
nice time lapse! I never been watch the movie like this. I am a program producer from KOREA major broadcasting station SBS. I'd like to use this amazing movie to my program to promote sydney. Can I use this video ? I expect your positive answer. thank you
Filippo Rivetti I'm teaching Sydney next week. Hope to do some crazy timelapses too. I will be there for 4 days. Enough to cover all like I can see you have pretty much covered everything. How many days did you stay ?

+graham68ktm thanks! My first video, but still one of my favourite :)
Amazing 👏❤️❤️
Amazing video! What camera did you use for this one?
spectacular!
This is exceptional. I did I short timelapse from the harbor bridge on a recent trip from the US with my Nikon, but nothing close to this. Did you use stabilization software in addition to a motion kit? How much did AfterEffects factor into the actual sequences, transitions aside?
Thank you! I used Warp Stabilizer for the hyper-lapses only, and that's probably the main thing I've used in After Effect.
I think this video was edited on Adobe After Effect
Wow!
Awsome video pleasr make a time lapse video of perth

Max Iriz thanks! All info for licensing are in the video description!
i love the bit where you go under the harbour bridge from day to night , how long did that sequence take ? do you use after effects to stabilize ?
+graham68ktm thanks! It is still one of my favourite sequences! It is actually a HDR hyperlapse seqeunce from day to night and it took me around 3 hours of shooting and many many more of editing :) (and yes, it's stabilized with AE warp stabilizer)
+Filippo Rivetti very cool effect , cant wait to see more!
Stunning time lapse video! Why is called hyperlapse? When you were walking along Bondi Beach and on the ferry, how did you keep the camera steady when filming? Gimbal? Shot in raw?
AmazingNature hyperlapse is just a timelapse done along a long distance and not with a dolly. All shot in raw, just a tripod for those sequences
Thanks. I still bit confused about the hyper lapse. Some scenes look like panning motion with panning tripod gear ( I got one I used).? In Bondi beach looks like you are walking along the beach and filming over a long distance , right? But you must keep the distance in a very straight line so not appear crooked. Great ,what kind of software did you use? thank you.
Thanks! I used Camera Raw, Photoshop, LRTimelapse, SNS HDR, After Effect.
HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU? haha seriously though, great job! I'd imagine you spent like 100+ hours shooting these alone...
Thanks!!! I probably spent more hours than that on this project! Being a personal project without any time constraint I was going out only when the weather was perfect and it was shot during a 4 month period!
That's amazing. I aspire to do cool stuff like this... but I'm broke and only have a dji osmo mobile 2. Haha thanks for the inspiration!

Just need an extended version with less cuts ?
It’s already quite long 😉
can i use some parts for a music video?, your rights, of course.
Luis Mesa Official contact me via email for licensing details as in video description
Time to sydney,
Can you list the locations frame or shot by shot ?
Jetspot Networks not really it would take quite a while 😜, but feel free to ask for specific parts!
Filippo Rivetti what rig were you using for circular timelapse movements ?
Filippo Rivetti I'm teaching Sydney next week. Hope to do some crazy timelapses too. I will be there for 4 days. Enough to cover all like I can see you have pretty much covered everything. How many days did you stay ?
Jetspot Networks all equipment is in the video description! 😉
Oh just saw, you from sydney itself. Cool man! Let me see if I can make the locations list or will ask for help. Thanks man, crazy work.
Tip: ... Watch the video on .25 of the normal speed.
