    Hermoso cuadro, se podría reemplazar la malla por otra cosa? Se podría con papel grueso?
    Saludos desde Bogotá 😊

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  5 месяцев назад +2

      hello! it can’t be replaced, because the wire mesh is strong enough to hold the material (joint compound)

  • @SaddyanNoir

    Wow, I like it... picasso 😊

  • @vin-vm7mz
    @vin-vm7mz Месяц назад

    I'm having a lot of trouble doing this. First, I buy and use a wood glue from a tight bond brand, and the gauze doesn't stick well to the wire mesh and it slips a lot. Second, the joint compound tends to harden too quickly. Is there anything that prevents it from hardening? Thank you so much for always answering❤ ..

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  Месяц назад

      hi! for the joint compound you could try to add a bit more water so it will take longer to harden. also try placing small patches of gauze. it should be easier to arrange them.

    Is there a limit to how big of a canvas I can use? For example, will the 3D plaster fall off a larger canvas because it is heavier?

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  5 месяцев назад +1

      hello! we would recommend doing sizes similar to 80x80 centimeters or 60x120 centimeters. if you go larger on this dimension it will become too heavy and it will be hard to handle

    Hello❤
    Joint Compound on Amazon Link is not shipped to Korea.
    Similar products include water-based putty and hand coat that are sold as dough in Korea.Can I use this product instead?
    Do I have to add water and mix it?

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  Месяц назад +1

      hi! you should find similar a product in construction stores. joint compound is a wall filler and you can mix it with water. if it comes as a dough it should definitely not need water but we never used that kind of product so me could not recommend how to use it.

    Is it ok if I use a little thick board to be a little sturdy

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  6 месяцев назад +1

      yes, it’s ok, the only thing is that the painting is going to become a little heavy. so for a small painting should be fine

  • @vin-vm7mz
    @vin-vm7mz Месяц назад

    Did this work only form 2 layers of joint compound? Or was it edited for the video
    And I'm worried about powder inhalation while sanding Are you wearing a mask?
    I'm curious about the packaging method of safely transporting the work
    🎁🚚✈️

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  Месяц назад +1

      hi! sometimes is enough to add only 2 layers of joint compound, sometimes you need 3 or even 4. it depends on how smooth you want the painting to be. yes, it is necessary to wear a mask, also if you can do this part of the process outside would be better for you!

    Hey! I just started my first 3D painting inspired by your fabulous work. I’m having a hard time managing my plaster. It gets hard in the bowl too quickly. Any tips on how to solve it then? Love love xoxo

    • @ateliermico
      @ateliermico  5 месяцев назад +1

      hello! this art is called “plaster art” but the material used is not plaster is actually joint compound and it has a longer dry time. you probably are not using the right material. check the link in the description and find the joint compound product
