I have written my exam today and cleared it on the first try. I want to thank this channel for making a lot of videos about the written exams and even explaining them so that we won't forget them. Some questions I got today, I haven't seen in any RUclips videos or practice tests online. Sorry, I forgot those questions; otherwise, I would have posted here. But my only advice to those appearing for the exam is to review the DMV handbook at least once thoroughly.

I passed all the on-line written tests...none of those questions are on the "Real" written test.
Please, Study the DMV BOOK!!!! Especially concerning numbers!

what is an uncontrolled intersection?
Hello! It's basically an intersection that does not have traffic signs or traffic lights controlling it. According to the DMV: "An intersection is any place where one road meets another road. Controlled intersections have signs or traffic signal lights. Uncontrolled and blind intersections do not." At night time stop along side road what should we do
1= parking light only.
2= head light only
3=emergency flasher headlight

Hello! If you are not parking legally and need to pull over for an emergency or due to vehicle troubles, you should turn on your emergency flashers. This is straight from the DMV handbook:
If you need to stop because of vehicle trouble:
*• Turn on your emergency flashers. If your vehicle does not have
emergency flashers, use your turn signals.*
• If possible, pull off the road away from all traffic.
• If you cannot get completely off the road, stop where people can see
you and your vehicle from behind.
• Do not stop just over a hill or just around a curve. Other drivers may
not see your vehicle in time to avoid a collision.
• Call for emergency roadside assistance and stay in your vehicle until
help arrives.

If your permit expires, do you have to do it again?
Hello! If your permit expires, yes, you will have to reapply again. Here is what the DMV website says:
What if my provisional instruction permit expires before I take the driving test?
The California Driver’s License or ID Card Application and fee is valid for 12 months after you apply. If your application expires before you have held your provisional instruction permit for the required six months to take your driving test, you’ll need to reapply at a DMV office. You will get cumulative credit for the time you held your instruction permit that counts towards your six-month requirement. Make sure to bring both your expired and valid provisional instruction permits when you take your driving test to show proof of credit.

You can call the DMV at 1-800-777-0133 or start a chat with them here: www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/contacting-dmv/ - just click on "Ask DMV" button in the bottom-right corner of the screen - I personally like the chat option, and I recommend that you request to chat with a live person. From my experience, most of the chat support specialists at the DMV are very helpful and you'll get your question answered within a few short minutes! Best of luck to you!
